    Update - After communicating with Andy (EMPIRETECANDY) I upgraded all my cameras to version V2.800.0000015.0.R Build Date 2020-0403. No issues with cameras or on either NVR, NVR5216-4KS2 or my ONVIF NVR. I am not using any alarms, email notifications, trip wires etc... so hopefully all those...

    Please recommend a DVR

    Had NVR for almost 2 weeks. I like everything so far EXCEPT the little LOUD 40mm fan. I was told before purchasing that the fan was somewhat loud in a quiet setting. I ordered a Noctua NF-A4x10 PWM 12V to try. Had good luck with Noctua before. Will let you know if that helps... M

    Mine has firmware 4.000.0000001.5 2019-12-18. Is that the latest? On the Dahua website it says there is a 08/04/2020 version. Don't have any issues so far so I have not updated. I just like to keep all the firmware versions archived on my computer. m

    I never got a mechanical chime to work, just an electronic one. Been a while but I purchased another electronic chime and it worked fine. There is a delay between the push of the doorbell and the ring of the inside chime ~3 secs or so. M
