Dahua 5442 varifocal Turret repair...
Scratch that idea, I dont have any 5442 donors. only 5431 2241's. and they are different wires in the pigtail. I belive the camera only uses 4 wires of the 6, so 2 of those wires get paired. but dont quote me. There is a pinout diagram floating around here somewhere. -

Front porch camera/conduit/junction box installation questions
Can you not punch a small 1/4" hole directly into garage at blue mark? I do this quite often on installations. You could always run some wire molding inside the garage up to ceiling to hide wire. Even this cam in the picture is almost a foot too high.- dudemaar

RJ45 connectors - are they all the same?
