    I have no complaints, but I am really not one to ask yet because I am a complete novice. It would be a long time before I would be able to intelligently answer. I have a lot to learn about everything and limited time in my schedule, but I am chipping away. All is well!

    My first Dahua camera is out for delivery to me now. What do folks here recommend for setup of their cameras? DMSS, NVR, etc.? edit: going to read the DMSS privacy policy

    Thank you! Just trying to get a feel for what to expect when I try this. I think this version of the NVR came out around 2020-2022. I'm not thrilled with it but I prefer not to have to replace it at this time. Thanks again.

    I have an Amcrest NV4108E-A2 NVR. I would like to pair it with Dahua cameras. Ideally, I would like it only to record events as opposed to continuously. Would the later and soon to be released model cameras trigger this NVR to record in this way?
