    Unbricking bootloader

First we have to find the devicename for the sdcard slot in uboot. Usually it's /dev/mmcblk0, but I'm not sure. Could be sdmmc as well. Maybe you are lucky with "mmc" or "mmcinfo" command. Then you have to prepare the sdcard, donno if this can be done in uboot at all. You might have to do it on...

    Unbricking bootloader

Looking at your post it seems that you tried to boot uboot out of uboot - this does not work (wrong image type...). Try to load kernel and boot it. As rootfs I suggest to use a prepared sdcard (root=/dev/mmcblk0) - maybe this works.

    Unbricking bootloader

Can you pls. post the commands you used (set hwid,...)? If we get the device booted up with this method, at least until it is visible in ConfigTool, we could try to flash it with a known good firmware. Hopefully the config tool uses another method than the "tftp... ;flwrite" to write the...

    Dahua VTO2111D-P-S2 ring issue

I tested it out with my test-VTO2000A, no problem. If DMSS notfies silent, then at least p2p works. Your problem must be app-, os(android) or setting related.

    Dahua VTO2111D-P-S2 ring issue

Make sure, that you run latest firmware on your vto (General_VTOXXXXD-G_MultiLang_PN_SIP_V4.500.0000002.0.R.210812), p2p is enabled and most of all, subscribe for messages in gDMSS app (Messages -> Bell at top left -> your device => ON). This is a very common mistake.

    Solved: Dahua VTO3211D won't call VTH5321GW-W

Hook up a sip softclient (microsip,linphone,...) with number 9901#1 on your VTO's sip server and try to call VTH from there. If this works, you know your VTH is fine. Then press door button and see if microsip rings. If not, your problem seems to be a setting on the VTO. A wireshark trace would...

    Unbricking bootloader

If there is no hack to replace the uboot from uboot itself, I guess I need to flash the spi chip with a external tool. Think I could solder some wires temporarily on the chip itself and flash it.

    Unbricking bootloader

Playing with new firmware versions on my dahua VTH5241DW-S1, I flashed once again the wrong image => device bricked. Off course I'm aware of UART / TFTP methods for unbricking. This time I made the mistake, flashing a obviously too old bootloader which does not support the flash from this board...

Dahua IP Video Intercom with Hikvision cameras??

Sure, there is a chance. Try to register the hik display as a user on the SIP server (running on the VTO?). I had luck with almost all kinds of SIP device (softclients,phones,...).

    Request to modify VTH2421FW-P functionality

There is no one here who can modify the firmware in such a way (I guess). You have to get in contact with dahua, the manufacturer of this device. If you've bought 70+ pcs. then you should have a seller/partner who can communication directly with dahua staff. But I don't want to not make you too...

    New VDP firmware

Hi! Can you pls. post a link to the latest firmware files for gen1 vdp devices (VTO2000A, VTH1550/1560,...). I noticed that they were produced end of july and should have the fix for the authentication issue: General_VTOXXX_Eng_P_16M_SIP_V4.300.0000002.0.R.20210722.zip...

New massive security whole in many dahua devices (ip-cam,vdp,...)!

Just found the reason why dahua produced so many new firmware's in mid of july: Seems to be related to CVE-2021-33044 and CVE-2021-33045 (Dahua-Authentication-Bypass). So I warmly recommend to upgrade all devices, if they are placed in exposed areas.

    snapshot.cgi, video.cgi

Afaik, you have to set encode mode on the stream you request (main/sub) to MJPG and not H.265/H.265 for use with video.cgi. This worked for me on all of my dahua cam's.

    Dahua config backup encrypted?

Need help with VTO2202f-p Dahua video intercom

Simply adding a gong isn't really supported by dahua. But there are some options for this if you are willed to "play" with scripts (e.g. on a RPi or NAS). You can ead this (use g**gle translate). If not, buy another VTH. Also cloud services are not really supported (except dahua's own cloud...

Need help with VTO2202f-p Dahua video intercom

It might not be power itself, but due to many contacts for ethernet wires, poe-adapter in, out,... one single bad contact can cause the eth link to fail. So the risk of having exactly the behaviour you described, is pretty high. Off couse you can try it on another ethernet switch or dig even...

Need help with VTO2202f-p Dahua video intercom

Simply connect 12V from any power supply to the pins 12V and GND on the backside. This should power up the VTO and you can connect it directly to any network port without a PoE adapter.

Need help with VTO2202f-p Dahua video intercom

Try different speed/duplex settings on the switchport 10/100/1000,full,half. Maybe you can find a setting the let the port come up. Afaik these cheap PoE adapters/injectors are pure crap (20 y'rs experience as a network tech). I suggest to test the VTO with a external 12V power supply. Does the...

Need help with VTO2202f-p Dahua video intercom

Ahh, ok. You did not mention that.:) What is the speed/duplex setting of your switch-port? Should be autoneg, in case of the VTO. When eth connection fails, is the device still powered up? Is there any light on, any feedback when pressing the bell button?

    Anyone have VTO6221E Firmware

I would try V4.4 firmware General_VTO3211D_MultiLang_PN_SIP_Market_V4.400.0000000.3.R.20191019 This one is based on V4.5 and comes with lots of new features. Maybe user management is better with this.

    Anyone have VTO6221E Firmware

What should happen when a 2nd door code was entered? Do you have a DEE1010A/B connected to the RS485 port of the VTO? Only so you would have a (official supported) extra relay for a second door. If not, you can off course dive deeper into the VTO's functions with this script.

    Anyone have VTO6221E Firmware

I don't have a VTO6221E, but did you play with device type in basic settings (villastation,...)?

    Anyone have VTO6221E Firmware

You can simply get it from dahua's support website: GeneralTO3221E_Eng_P_SIP_Market_V1.000.0000000.6.R.20190130 It's same fw image as for VTO3221D, so everything from here for VTO3221D should be suitable as well: Dahua VTO/VTH firmware link collection
