VTH1550CH connects VTO but not cameras (SIP firmware)

Ok, as mentioned: "hacking" VTO's config might be a workarround for this bug.

VTH1550CH connects VTO but not cameras (SIP firmware)

You are absolutely right, bashis! But VTH1550 gen1 is outdated and there is no more support from dahua's side for it.:( All you could try is to upgrade it to the latest firmware I found: General_VTH1550CHW-2_Eng_SIP_V4.300.0000002.0.R.20210720 Maybe you're lucky and the fault has been fixed in...

VTH1550CH connects VTO but not cameras (SIP firmware)

Well... Then I'd say, this could be a incompatible setup (at least a bit) :banghead: Maybe there is a chance to hack the VTO's config - can you post VTO's output of "config all"? I'll compare it with my VTO2000A's config, maybe there is chance to convice your VTO to allow some IPC's as well.

VTH1550CH connects VTO but not cameras (SIP firmware)

Just gave it a shot with my VTH1660 (same fw binary like your VTH1510) and VTO2000A (latest fw from july '21). No problem. Did you try to add the camera's config again with DahuaConsole or another hack? If they are visible in the config just like they were before, can the camera's be viewed?

VTH1550CH connects VTO but not cameras (SIP firmware)

I mean, did you try to add a ip camera again on the VTH AFTER you connected the VTH to the VTO's SIP server?

VTH1550CH connects VTO but not cameras (SIP firmware)

@bashis The firmware link you posted is for VTH1550-S2 (2nd. gen of VTH1550 which has complete different hw). Do not try to flash this on a gen1 VTH1550, it will brick it! In fact dahua did not yet release a new fw with a fix for 'Dahua Authentication bypass (CVE-2021-33044, CVE-2021-33045)'...

VTH1550CH connects VTO but not cameras (SIP firmware)

That sounds interresting :wtf: Did you try to add the camera's again after you hooked it up the SIP server? Did you also try latest FW for VTO? This seems to be the latest firmware for VTO3211D devices: DH_VTO3211D_MultiLang_PN_SIP_V4.400.0000001.0.R.20210722

VTH1550CH connects VTO but not cameras (SIP firmware)

Sounds a bit weird - never heard about this problem. Well, I would compare the configurations of both setup's. This could point out your problem's cause. Connect with the DahuaConsole to your VTH after you successfully setup your cameras and issue command "config all". Then connect the VTH...

    Update VTO3211D-P2-S1 with VTO3211D-P2-S2 firmware

S2 is new generation of this device with complete different HW. Do not try to upgrade S1 with S2 fw - you'll brick it!

Dahua Firmware Mod Kit + Modded Dahua Firmware

Forget customizing a dahua firmware later than 2017 - this will not work! There is no way for that (so far). I suggest to install latest firmware from dahua firmware collection and you'll be at least mostly bug-free. (General_VTO3211D_Eng_P_SIP_V4.300.0000000.4.R.20190306 +...

Any IP-based doorbell working only in LAN without requiring "cloud" services?

Don't want to drag this thread out, but there is a (very) technical aspect that I want to state because it fits here. @user8963 I did some more testing on what you said. My VTO2000A running latest FW from this years july, is capable of handling 4 rtsp streams in parallel. This makes possible to...

Any IP-based doorbell working only in LAN without requiring "cloud" services?

@user8963 I did a lot of investigation on this some time ago but didn't use dahua's own builtin sip server because of the lack of opportunities. I remeber that on asterisk VTH's connected VTO's RTSP stream after the SIP/INVITE and after 200/OK it switched over to SIP video from SDP. Would be...

Any IP-based doorbell working only in LAN without requiring "cloud" services?

You mean, you want the video of the visitor in ringing state on the devices? Dahua's own indoor stations (VTH) can do that also with asterisk as their sip server. Off course "ring groups" can be easily configured with asterisk (that's what I do at home as well). Even showing the video on a tv...

Any IP-based doorbell working only in LAN without requiring "cloud" services?

I have a dahua VTO at my front door. As soon as someone rings the bell, I get a signal message with the visitor's pic. I also get a snapshot and even name of the user if the door was opened with the fingerprint. This is all non cloud based and runs 100% on my home server. You could also run the...

Dahua IPC EASY unbricking / recovery over TFTP

Common problem: Chinese tool cannot open a file from a folder with chinese characters in it's name. Solution: Store the .bin file in a directory named e.g. C:\1 and give it a shot again. Are you sure you are using the correct config-tool anyway? It should be latest version (5.0) from...

Dahua IPC EASY unbricking / recovery over TFTP

No - not risky at all (at least not more than the normal firmware...). And even if flashing fails, I posted a howto to unbrick failed MCU flashings. You have to take the .bin file - can't remember which folder it'is in. The .hex cannot be flashed with config-tool anyway.

    Problem with vth1550

Off course, a VTH does not have a web server on it, so web-x.cramfs.img is defintely wrong. How does you commands.txt look like and what's the software image you want to flash on your VTH?

No. Sounds like a android/ios app permission issue? Try to delete an reinstall the app and allow everything it is asking for.
