    I believe if I re-install BI on the same computer I don't need to re-enter the key code. But if I want to re-install it on another computer (after deleting it on the old/bad PC) I need to remember or get it on the store account. Please correct if I am wrong.

    My BI has been working well for me the last many months. After a series of updates, almost every day, it stops working. I tried different things e.i. exit, add, delete camera...all the menus are frozen or do not respond. The cameras (3) are working fine with CamHi Pro on my iPhone. Please help!.

    Thank you for the info. The second camera was bought from a dealer of Allied Express with bogus name but similar to the first one. It worked nicely with Blue Iris for over a year. After upgrade, it stops working with BI but works OK with N_eye 3C. I can see its IP address and manually set it up...

    I am using a 8G/250GB mini PC with 2 HDMI outputs.One out put is connected to a monitor dedicated to BI and the other to my TV for the rest of the tasks. All peripherals are connected through Bluetooth. I can do other things and watch the cameras at the same time.

    I have 2 cameras, the first one has all presets work perfectly with Blue Iris in every step. The newer one has only one preset working when first set up after camera reset. But when the power is off and on again, I cannot set up any preset location! Is the camera in question?

    Thank you all for the responses. I just bought a well equipped, small size mini-computer and re-installed BI. Now I can easily move it around, to different locations just like a laptop.

    I tried to use the brightness and contrast buttons on the lower left corner of the screen. When the IR is off I only see a black screen. Please show me how to get the color night vision back, thank you. CV Update: The screen stays black with daylight too. Should I reset the camera?
