Problem is if I limit the ptz, the circle to the right is higher ground and it wouldn't track correctly. As far as locking on, if it sees the white car coming, why does it zip to the sky? I will try narrowing the field and zooming in a little and see what happens. Thanks for the input! -

Version 5.3.3.16 inaccurate CPU usage displayed at bottom of UI.
I may be misunderstanding what exactly the "CPU" percentage is listed on the UI. This # continuously is way below what the task manager shows on my PC. It generally shows 15% while the task manager shows around 30%. Just curious if it is just my system. I thought maybe that was just indicating...- FlipNJ

Turning off PFA did not resolve the issue unfortunately. It actually did improve focus in general but the random way out of focus issue remains. Thinking it is just the camera's general operation. It isn't terrible but it definitely WILL broaden my search to other brands. Not to whine on a... -

When it really matters, it seems this cam loves to pick the wrong time to SUCK at focusing. Been a problem from day 1. Does well a majority of the time but this boils my blood. -

Here is the fix!!! When specifying the folder location, the syntax for date and time have to be included so written files have different names. See the image below. I only had it as " E:\Snaps\&CAM." After adding the %H%M mumbo jumbo, files are being stored and not overwritten. Thank you...- FlipNJ

Yes, Version 4. D: drive is not dedicated exclusively to BI. There is only one folder "Snaps" which I set BI to write the images to. Tried changing the Snaps folder to the E drive to see if it helped. Same deal, keeps over writing last file. I do not have the box checked to write a log file so...- FlipNJ

Thanks for your help. It works however, again, once the camera is triggered, the stored (one) image is over-written and is replaced by the newest image. I never end up with more than one image.- FlipNJ

Just update back to the last firmware. To eliminate issues, shut uncheck "Auto Check for Updates" in your settings. (Save it when done) -

I thought my problems with wonky PTZ actions were over. It is back now and I had this problem with a 59230. WTF is causing this? So annoying. Updated the firmware last week and tracking has been great but this is one thing that sucks. -

Here is another vid after trying focus limit at 10cm. Still slow as molasses. I count approx 5 seconds at that zoom level. After it zooms in more it is fast to focus. Maybe I will try to go larger for the target size and see.
