    I never noticed this until recent. On the DB status window I get a message of "Slow DB access" How is this being tested and what's the best way to improve it? my DB is on an SSD already but my files are scattered across HDD and a NAS for long term storage.

    I only have a 500gb SSD for new, after that it moves to a 6tb HDD. I only have 4 cameras that are continueous the rest are on motion. I'll up it to 400 and not set the limit clip age and see what happens

    In my "new" folder, I have limit size to 300 or 3 days then move to store. Problem is it reaches 400gb but not quite 3 days but it still doesn't move to store.

    Alrite disabled that... also seems that by disabling hardware accellaration, it dropped CPU usage by about 10-15%. So far so good.

    It's an i7 6700 might be 7th or 8th gen? The 6tb is a Seagate enterprise 7200 RPM drive. I know people scream about purple etc.. but I've never had issues even with random drives in the past.

    Start from scratch is going to be a nightmare, 16 cameras and very specific AI setting per camera and many hours of tweaking. FWIW I deleted the DB completely and things started up and is allowing me to navigate around. I just did a delete/regen on the DB hopefully it's as simple as that.

    I have 2 amcrest cameras both same pw and no change to my system. Been away for a few days and noticed the doorbell cam is getting the error. I can still see it on the app. Reboot doesn't fix it, moving it to another VLAN didn't fix it. Has anyone had this issue?

    I have GB internet with a 40Mbps upload when I'm away BI app takes awhile to initialize before an image will show up, typically 5 seconds or more. Doesn't sound like much but when you're you only got split seconds to see who's at the door that's a long time. Not my phone internet speeds...

    Is there a bug in BI? Not sure when this happened but when I select the option to view selected camera, it's not giving me any clips regardless of which option I select.

    KISS is definitely the way to go. It's been on my bucket list and I never got to it. We are upping cybersecurity by 10 fold these days at work and I figure might as well do it for my house as well. I don't trust the built in camera access. This will make me feel better waking around the house...
