    I have had about a dozen or so lamp and wall switch modules running off 2 hubs for a few years now. Had to replace a few blown caps in the hubs but other than that they work great. Not sure I want to mess with them. :cool:

    I sent Ezviz support the question about the removal of the chime setup in the app. Karen replied and said it made no difference to the app, at least that’s how I read her reply.

    @TechBill Bill, that is what I meant, PIR notifications. Even when I had trouble with the PIR I never had trouble with the actual doorbell press. Since the upgrade to 4.1.1 and continuing with 4.1.2 the PIR notifications have worked perfectly. But then I am only connecting to one iPhone.

    Sounds like your electrician doesn't do a lot of data or he would know. Most jacks have the color code right on them. 2 things to note, they list color code for both A & B so make sure he uses B. Also keep the twist on the pairs as close to the pins as possible. Good Luck.

    Same here, I have a Ubiquiti USG and ICMP is blocked by default. Have not made any changes and it works.

    I am playing around with the brown plate that came with the Ezviz and removed the button now I need to get a good outdoor epoxy and test it before doing the white one.

    @TechBill Because of the poor playback on the Guarding Vision I went back to the Ezviz app. After 3 days of erratic notifications the last 2 days were spot on, did not miss a one. Go Figure!! I'm wondering if the fix for the casting would work on the Guarding Vision playback?? Can you try...
