As TonyR mentioned, I use my vlc app (ios in my case), to stream my dahua camera to my tv Chromecast. There is a 10s a/v delay. The url (dahua main stream) is: rtsp:/admin:[email protected]:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0
the scaling or upconversion process could be more complicated and expensive than buying a new monitor. In your case, the Neovo SX-17/19 have a native resolution of 1280x1024
normally the nvr resolution is 1280 x 1024. It looks like your monitor is limited by the resolution (1024 x 768). Just for testing, try connecting the NVR to another TV.
A little more expensive, but maybe more versatile. If you could or have constant 120Vac at the lamp socket (line + neutral), you may install a separate ir illuminator (with built-in light sensor) near the lamp, and you still use the lamp switch...
Just like the free alarm contracts. You pay for the subscription and ended up investing for many times the cost of the equipment. Is not mentioned, but maybe that’s the catch. Wise people
used before this external relay with built-in adjustable timer to control the relay, rated at 10 Amps (AC/DC). You may use the 12V from the NVR to power the device...
What about buying a galvanized metal strip at Home Depot (wide enough to accommodate the ptz base), then bending both sides to accommodate underneath the roof (sorry about my drawing)
TonyR, you made my day. Being testing the Pro series, as your recommendation for the Shelly products, the possibilities are endless. No need for a hub, while adding a din-rail + network within the power panel, allows you for using the same switches installed in your house. Will look to take...
appreciated, but I will check if pass on my next visit. I already contact the customer, regarding ordering the connector. It looks like is in backorder. They are on the web at 6x the original price. Thanks again for your help
from the drawing it looks like an straight connector, but your photo shows an angle between the body and the cable, making it wider. Not sure if will fit the 1/2” pipe. I will let the customer to order the adaptor asap. Thanks for your input.
Edit: is the cable fixed with that angle in the...
Understand the Starlink v2 rectangular antenna have a detachable connector (like micro-usb type). The customer will bring the hardware (antenna/router + two mesh). The objective is to install several cameras around and existing house, while adding a new construction to an adjacent property...
a poe connection needs all four cable pairs for data + power. If the camera feeds the +12v directly, you may use the brown (-) and blue (+) pairs for power.
Good luck with the EZVIZ Customer Serice. I still have an useless CS-CIC, after several back and forth emails. Promise myself to never recommend of purchase a product from this Company

not all, but some Imou cameras allow for local direct access through the Web GUI (Port 80 default). Currently using the Imou Turret, added through Onvif registry. By contrary, the Cruiser PT will not allow for accessing the Web GUI, but still may be added through Onvif. No need to use the...
No longer being used since my ipod touch stop working many years ago. Installed a pre-amp board, in place of the ipod docking, using the same original inputs. Now my boombox is revamped with wifi, usb, airplay and bluetooth. Not bad for a 13 years old unit
you may ask about the warranty. Sometimes they have an arrangement with the distributors to exchange besides repair. If you buy an install a kit, which includes cabling, they may ask for bringing the entire kit, even thou it fails a single camera. It means to tear down the whole installation...
valuable info, thanks for sharing. In my case, since I only have access through a network LAN (loco m5 bridge), I will need a Shelly with LAN connection at both ends (input Shelly directly to loco-m tx, while another Shelly at loco-m rx switch). Any option to add network connectivity to the...
I need to connect a chime, just to alert when someone press a button at a distance gate (flush mounted button for security reasons). No need for video, just to activate a relay (chime) when someone press a button (n/o contact) at the gate. Not at this particular site, but used before the Dakota...
