I would think there has to be YouTube videos on how to set it up. I'm guessing your issue has something to do with creating the certificates needed for the server and client. I run my network on a Netgate pfSense router/firewall and making the certs for OVPN was the only part I had to google...- whoami ™

Why is the ui3 quality worse than the console even on lan or localhost?
What are the default settings for Webserver>Advanced>Encoder Profiles? I jacked my settings all up trying to get better quality stream of multi view (aka channel 1) in tinyCam just to later realize the setting for that is in a different location. -

The best OpenVPN client for Android is OpenVPN Client Pro. Its the only client I know of that can tunnel dual stack IPv4 & IPv6 not to mention all the setting options it has. I'm guessing 13.01.00.98 isn't for this cam... or if it was at one point, it doesnt have the key the firmware needs that the SD-M5 is looking for. It will load but doesn't install. The IP_Test_Tool shows it loading to 100% but on reboot at the end of the install the firmware doesn't hold and it... -

I envy you. Wish i had access to IDA pro... & knew how to use it. Actually, now that I somewhat know what their code is suppose to do and test it, nothing is wrong with their code. On Onvif restart cam gives 15fps=/+. Once motion is detected or NightMode is triggered it must kick off the code... -

Attached is the dump of the firmware. I dont see anywhere in there the settings for 1080p frame rate. I see 720 and 640, but nothing to do with mainstream unless Im over looking something. -

I got deeper into the firmware... Just in case anyone wants to follow along and extract the file system to see it all for themselves... I installed jefferson on Kali. Plus I needed "pip" apt install python-pip to install one of the dependencies. Jefferson allowed me to run the binwalk... -

I extracted the ELF new 32-bit LSB executable... than ran strings on the output but its not even worth posting. Looks like its just the executable to launch the updater (nothing to do with settings). But figured I'd post the dd cmd syntax, maybe it will help someone else get further than me... -

I can confirm that 13.01.01.30 works with SD-M5... Now if its meant for it... might be another story. I downloaded it from YooSee and force updated it with the IPCTest Tool. But in the end it didn't do anything but give me 1fps more half of the time. Now it just bounces back and forth between 5...
