    6.0.3.1 - Broke my webserver

Not sure why we even need this if you use a VPN? I don't get ANY connections other than my own. Just glad mine still works :)

Do the Dahua PTZ's have a safety mechanism when it is snowing outside?

I went through this in an ice storm a few years back. I just unplugged the cam until the sun did its job and melted the ice. The lens was covered so it was useless anyway.

    It's not just Costco

Costco is just a little higher up the ladder than Walmart, but both have the same stupid. I hate going to both.

BI 6.0.2.7 - very odd alert behavior

By no means do I reboot pc after every update, but I have seen this kind of behavior many times and a reboot will fix it. So, what's a beta tester to do? Reboot if it acts goofy  BTW 6.0.2.7 has been running very good for me.

So far mine has been working really well. I have had ONLY 2 occupied alerts, and it was on a camera that I forgot and still had periodic scanning enabled. All my other cams I have the periodic unchecked and they have been great. I think it's getting closer, but even CPAI wasn't perfect, so I'm...

    IPC Color4K-T180

I should have mentioned that I do run a 9w led bulb that is on all night. It is directly below cam (see pic) It does a fairly decent job on motion. Could I get it better? sure, but it's mostly just the big picture cam and for the stuff that is IN my driveway its fine.

On mine you can turn them off. I do have street lights in my alley so I do not need the white lights.

Alert Action using sub-stream image so poor resolution

Maybe try messing with the high res alert option then.

Alert Action using sub-stream image so poor resolution

Maybe try upping the quality. I just tested mine on 6.0.2.2 and it works fine using gmail.

so do you show just the RTX3050 in the device manger only? I am thinking you should disable the onboard gpu in the bios. At least that is how I have mine setup.

I'll have to admit after changing all my cams to 750ms has almost eliminated my occupied alerts. I had just one since upgrading to 6.0.2.2. These two triggers were within the same minute and same cam, yet one got the dreaded occupied.

Just to update everyone on the occupied alert issue. I have found that by going back to the bi-combinedv5 model and not using the primary model has almost eliminated all of my occupied alerts. The one garage cam that I forgot to switch models did have 4 or 5 and I think its due to having so many...

Using a mask for motion detection but have AI analyze entire scene?

or let the camera do the AI work and just select person. Assuming that cam has AI capabilities.

Well, that got me thinking. I went to a couple of my cams that did get the occupied alerts and switched those 2 cams to bi-combinedv5 model and no primary. So far I have no occupied running this: Will let it run that way tonight and see what happens.

I agree completely. My main BI system is a I7-6700k 16MB and I used to run CPAI on it ok but was limited to about 5-6 cams. That was using CPU, the onboard GPU would just bog down. With what prices are of video cards, I would spend that money to invest into a 12th gen I7 or newer with 32MB ram...

Here is a good one, just had one on both systems and almost same time. Both should have been confirmed easily as a person. Also, there wasn't much other AI activity going on then as well. Now I am thinking down other ideas...camera? network? LOL Keep in mind, the AI did confirm me out there...

Blue Iris Version 6.0.1.24 Now Supports Custom Models

Hmmm, I changed my demo machine back to 32 this morning and it uses the UHD onboard 770. So far I have over 175 alerts and NO occupied. Running 6.0.2.1 and using yolov8s 13 cams running AI. I run this on about all of them. Also, this machine is all motion only, no continuous and it...

Blue Iris Version 6.0.1.24 Now Supports Custom Models

Well, some good news to report this morning. After changing my "max connects" back to 32 I had ZERO occupied alerts last night. At first, I thought I must not have had many cars go by, when I actually had more than usual. All 5 cams that I tested and have .dat analysis enabled did not have any...

so maybe the "max connects" could come into play. On my setup it's not uncommon for 4 to 5 cams firing almost the same time when I car drives around house. I had mine set to 4, but it was at 32. I'll try bumping it up again and test tonight. All of my occupied alerts are cars, and I have cars...

No I don't think cleaning the registry helped, but I did it to both of my machines. During the day out of 150 approximately I only had 5 occupied alerts and I am not sure why they were not confirmed. I seem to get more after dark, but nothing like I was before I went to just ONE model and...

Ok, here I deleted all the deepstack garbage and a lot of other stuff on my demo. Everything works great lol So my next step is to clean up my main one. Not one occupied alert as well on demo, but its only been up for a hour so far. Since I use no alpr I deleted all that as well. Everything...

One other thing I noticed while in registry. There seems to be a lot of old references to CPAI and deepstack. I'm going to clean that up, not sure if it will help, but that always has been a issue with BI, it tends to leave a lot of junk in the registry. Also note there it lists wildlife and...

This morning after going back to just using the yolov8m model and doing a full system restart, my occupied alerts were very few. I still had a couple like the one I posted here: The * image it detected a bench and then it did see the car, but it remained occupied. Bench was still active in...
