Downloading videos files directly from camera via web interface (using other than IE) seems to be capped at *TEN* Mbps
All cameras on the market (except some Ultra models) supports only Fast Ethernet (100 mbit/s). Not gigabit! Support for gigabit eats around 0.5W more on camera side plus another 0.5W on switch side. Measured for ethernet port doing nothing. Also older / cheaper cameras don't have enough... -

You know what is the best? This problem is simply wrong automatic exposure algorithm, which select longer exposures in good conditions.. Can be fixed in firmware.. Worth to collect video documentation (video files showing problem + text description) and sends to Andy.. He can sends this to... -

yes, and after that you have users on the forum who bought many 4K's, installed over house and run on 1/6 shutter settings at night to have nice colorful image because of lack IR :) -

Color-4K is dead project.. too many problems which NEVER will be solved (can't be - law of optics).. lack of IR... not worth to buy for new installations.. If I were Andy, I'd consider to hide (or move somewhere down in the shop) of Color4K model / line in the store. Selling it to new users... -

it can be.. please remember we use / test a very new product with almost beta firmware, with a lot of new features (and new AI-ISP video processing pipe-line), which is not available in normal distribution by Dahua in countries (it will be in one/two months) and totally not tested by Dahua... -

OMG... Constant time 1/1000 (without ability to camera choose shorter one) and gain 0 to 1... What is the purpose of that???? When it's cloudy it won't work anymore. -

Those new AI-ISP based hybrid LEDs cams (34PRO, 54PRO) can do wonders to video performance at not so good light conditions... and also they can help a lot with IR or/and white LEDs onboard... But always there is another better solution - simply put around house (or any other location) more... -

OK, that's ghosting.. some people call movement blur as ghosting so this is why I ask... ghosting is created by 3D NR algorithm in SOC chip (not at sensor level).. 3D NR works that way - each video frame is "averaged" with a few previous ones to create brighter, less noised and more stable... -

OMG... Smooth Stream set to 100 don't work like this... like opposite.. This is ratio switch - between smooth (value 0) and clear (value 100)... default 50 is in the middle (half of both)... Smooth (value 0) is giving more bandwidth for each frame (delta frames with small changes) in stream at... -

One thing I found on those WizColor cams... Day videos are VERY STABLE on textures (trees, greens, asphalt). Even night videos with good lighting - big areas with textures are very stable. Nothing happens, no pulsing, no re-sharping, no small color / details changing, no nothing... Looks like... -
WD now makes some MASSIVE Purple Drives...
Latest NVRs firmware supports up to 20TB (official info). Question does it support bigger HDs like this?- steve1225

Less sharpness in T54PRO-ZE (versus 5442-S3) possibly due to noise reduction being applied even if set to ZERO?
One more thing about differences - each camera have different "internal default settings"... 54IR-S3 is very well know from from over sharpening the image at default (50) settings.. it's how it was tuned by Dahua engineers... 54PRO have very soft default settings..Sharpening algorithm is also... -

Please remember that 54IR and 54PRO are using different sensors from different companies which have totally different characteristics.. 54IR are using sensors from Omnivision (typical sign is WDR at 140/150db level for 4Mpx plus only 4/8 Mpx variants). 54PRO / 34PRO / ColorVu are using sensors... -

yes... it's called channel zero... configure grid size and channel list to display on NVR's HDMI.. then when you connect to NVR using DMSS you will see as first channel 'channel zero' with all channels (NVR UI)... then you can use typical Dahua RTSP URL with channel=17 (or channel=33) for... -

In many cases have sense - especially to differentiate different things (street vs plot, people entrance by gates etc). But not so much on this one (lots of "objects" happening on the scene...) @Chokolinho didn't answer what objects invoked those intrusions.. so I'm shooting with possibilities -
