depending model & size they can be much or less noisier... You must read manufacture spec sheet in PDF.. noise levels are different for different size (TB) models in each line depending how many magnetic discs & heads are inside..- steve1225

lights reflection typical to open aperture (F1.0).. 5x59 in bullets have some mitigation for that (angled sensor), but in turrets is no space for that. it's first -IL reported on forum, where you bought it? please put video footage with people/car movement at night... -

Why 6ms? You are from the US - so 8.3ms (1/120s)... With today modern LED lighting you can even put European 10ms... 50/60Hz (100/120Hz) light blinking from electric grid is no more with LED lights... If you see ghosting on moving objects, then this means there is missing light.. More IR or... -

the same story was with full Video Meta Data on 5442 & 7442.. enabling VMD corrected camera manual settings (shutter times etc) to catch objects in motion.. in case AI-ISP this behavior can be explained by fact that AI-ISP (2D & 3D NR) are USING IVS data - to localize on video picture moving... -

To be fair - you should show here how image / video with the same exposure / shutter looks from 5442... A big problem with WizColor / AI-ISP cameras is that because they can "paint" a beautiful bright color static image at 1/100s to 1/250s at night in low light, we think the same applies to... -

Andy, but they have SECOND video processing pipeline without AI-ISP in this firmware.. All dual light (5x59-IL) models DON'T have AI-ISP and they use some form of more classic video processing... almost the same hardware.. the same firmware.. They simply can add option to use video pipeline... -

no it's not.. 4/5/8 Mpx models configuiration and 140db WDR (triple flash, 90 fps on sensor) on 4Mpx model suggest that sensors on 5x59-IL are taken from OmniVision (identical to 5442) not SmartSense. they have very different noise type.. there is no 2Mpx model on both lines... -

Yes, main board with SoC and firmware is the same. Only sensor and optics are different. Plus firmware don’t support ai-isp (different internal config). In world of cams this is normal. Hik have sometimes hundreds cam models on the same main board / soc / firmware.
