    I have a BlueIris setup running mainly for AI detection and Telegram Notifications. Tried the ALPR setup once, quickyl, but failed due to bad camera angle. At night the camera was comepletely black anyway ^^ How hard is it to correctly setup such a Camera to get good results at day and night...

    Would you care to elaborate? 500$ isn't cheap, but far from the 1‘000 or 1'500 other LPR cams are. The downside of being forced to use their software for config is indeed a point. But you can run that on your own hardware, I heard. And you need some software anyway. If you're not already using...
