    I have the dahua nvr5216-4ks2 and I have an 8 port Poe switch for my cameras. My main question is do I connect the NVR to the router directly and then the switch to the router directly? I've tried searching but that question still gets me. I wanna say that's how I do it but not 100% sure.

    This is the non-Poe port version. For those who have and are using this model can you tell me how noisy this nvr is? What about the heat output? In pictures I don't see a fan on the back of the unit... is there a different fan in this model or none at all thus making this near silent?
