2022 New Product Plan and Chinese New Year Plan

I wish I could still get a Dahua PTZ with the 4/3 sensor, any idea if they will start producing them again? I would say the 4/3 sensor would be hard to beat with no man made light at night.

    Video Stutter?

I too had stuttering issues on one location and changed the PoE switch and it cured it. On another location had the same issue and changed the computer out and it fixed the stuttering. The computer I changed out was a Surface Pro, may be something to that.

ePoE Switch to PoE Switch - 700 feet Run

I know nothing about fiber but it sounds like it is the $hit. My application is laying it in the woods above the ground, no burial due to way to many tree roots so I need the cable to be tough like direct burial Cat6. There is so many types and ends to choose from I'm not sure where to start...

ePoE Switch to PoE Switch - 700 feet Run

Sebastain, I was on 80-meters (3.573 mhz) running around 1,500 watts and the mode was FT8. There is power at the far end and I have no knowledge of running fiber so I was hoping to use Cat6 and ePoE from the office to the PoE switch located 700 feet away at the far end and then power the...

ePoE Switch to PoE Switch - 700 feet Run

I am looking at running 700-feet of Cat 6 direct burial cable through the woods from one ePoE switch located at the office where the NVR is located and down to the second location into a PoE switch where I have (2) 4MP cameras located. I have tried 2 different sets of Ubiquiti Nanostations M5...

5241E-Z12E Loosing Focus from Night to Day

Just watched the recording to see what it looks like outside when it switches from night to day and at night it is focused perfectly but then when it switched to the daytime it was too dark to see anything (pitch black). I changed the time to switch from night to day when it's daylight out...

5241E-Z12E Loosing Focus from Night to Day

I have 9 of these cameras used as spotter cams for the PTZ's and I noticed one of them about every 2 to 4 days will lose its focus when going from night to day time in the profile management schedule. In the camera, under Conditions, Focus & Zoom, I have Day set as "Semi-Auto" as well as Night...

    Curious Nighttime Stop

I'm guessing he's putting 3 recently stolen catalytic converters (wet back of his shirt from laying on the ground under the cars) into the luggage so when he gets out at home it doesn't raise any suspicion or noise.

Proper Wiring Ubiquiti NanoStation NSM5 - Help Please

Flintstone61 & Sebastiantombs thank you for sticking with me and opening my mind to a different avenue on troubleshooting and you were correct, the Nano needs put into a Network at the Access Point. I did a hard reset on the test camera and the default is 192.168.1.108, same as the NVR, and by...

Proper Wiring Ubiquiti NanoStation NSM5 - Help Please

I've double-checked everything and I am down to the Nano Station and Nano Access Point are working perfectly and when I log in to each of them via my router, it's beautiful, but when I connect to the NVR I get no blue "e". I'm lost as to why, maybe a big hammer hitting the NVR would help, I...

Direct Viewing of Camera via Laptop

I am trying to do some testing of a Nano Station and in order to make sure it is working correctly I am trying to be able to access the camera's GUI directly with a laptop. Proper Wiring Ubiquiti NanoStation NSM5 - Help Please

I do not run BI since I am going directly into the Dahua 5216-16P-I NVR......maybe that would be a better solution than using an NVR if I can get the Nano-Station connected. The Nano was working great until I turned off the NVR for a short period but now it will not reconnect. Do I need a...
