So as I said I took your advice and ordered the 1080p version of the Loryta tracker although for a few more buck could have gone with the 4MP version. Based on your recommended minimum requirements would indicate the sensor on the the 4mp version isn't big enough and therefore would get better...
Question: My poe switch has toggle switches that turn some ports to poe+, will it hurt anything if some of the regular poe cameras are plugged into ports pushing the extra power?
What's the deal with the firmware? Can't understand why they would eliminate one of the main functions of the camera? Assuming the firmware it comes with is rock solid presume there would be no reason to every upgrade but just sayin.
I've currently got the Reolink rlc-823a which is pretty...
After your response (thank you) I spent most of the day educating myself on various camera specs besides rez, more notably the sensor size. I have read every word of all the various links given, also talked to a buddy of mine who installs high end cameras out in Santa Barbara. In any event...
I recently purchased a 4k monitor and when I replay a 4k camera recording I'm seeing no improvements on the 4k monitor vs a 1080p monitor. I'm running the 4k cameras at 4k and exporting video at the highest settings. If I zoom in on something with words on it, I see no difference between the 2...
also same person but with additional info at the end, apparently Ken the owner of BI helped him out.... Deepstack and BI on separate machines... Need help
how does one get a hold of Ken?
here's a link of someone who figured out although i tried same and couldn't get to work... also was going to reply in that thread but despite my acct is activated the link "forgot password" doesn't work... no idea what's going on with their site...
Sounds like you're referring to someone trying to run the gpu version cause i seem to recall something similar but in any event I don't think it was preventing it from functioning, just had problems... can't remember i've looked at so much.
While I appreciate your thoughts I would still like someone who has successfully implemented AI on a 2nd computer to share their steps. After all, this is what the subject of this thread is all about.
When I add substreams into the camera setup I get that it does reduce cpu usage, however, it lowers the quality of the live feed when viewing all 9 cameras in a layout. I've tried as you've suggested to increase the bit rate for the substream via the camera http but not seeing any major...
Please re-read my post, maybe i'm not being clear enough... I was referring to running deepstack on a 2nd computer without BI. Yes as stated earlier, I was successful at running deepstack with BI on the same computer in which case i don't need to run the commands... I get it. That's the way i...
WIN10, GPU is not being maxed out so that's not a problem, running around 50%, I don't care about reading license plates and am not using that function.
More details about what i've tried with no success:
I have deepstack latest windows cpu version running on another computer. I run the command deepstack -VISION-SCENE=False -VISION-DETECTION=True -VISION-FACE=True -ADMIN-KEY= -API-KEY= -PORT=80 (or any other port) in a powershell and it starts...
Thanks for the quick response. Rig specs: i7 10700k @3.8ghz, 16gb ram, gtx 1650 video card, SSD os drive
Yes, it's set to burn in. Sorry about creating a new thread, was just trying to keep it in the proper context, one being for SenseAI and the other deepstack.
This computer is dedicated...
Backstory, I have tried the following and all have been failed attempts:
1. Run SenseAI in GPU mode, GPU appeared to be working a lot more however BI was not working with it, would not show squares around anything when analyzing nor would trigger anything
2. Run DeepStack on a separate computer...
You're not following... I'll try to clarify... in the scenario i'm describing i have 2 computers, 1 running BI and pointing to another computer that's doing the analysis... in BI you have to specify the IP address of the 2nd computer, using "localhost" means you're looking for the analysis...
After spending 10's of hours trying to get the GPU version of DeepStack to work with BI and the fact that CodeProject SenseAI doesn't currently support GPU, i've moved on to Plan B which is to utilize a second server running SenseAi. Leaving BI out of the equation, if i try to use t he web...
I have followed this to the letter but when i hit start now in BI it goes back to "start now" within a second. It would appear something is wrong. Also when i try to analyze video i get no boxes around anything when using testing & tuning. Running latest BI. I'm using 127.0.0.1 with port 82...
Ahhh, okay, thanks for that. Guess the next time I update the software I'll know for sure but that makes sense. Although I would question why it allowed me to do this before but not after an update.
I have 9 cameras plus 1 which is a copy of 1 camera and is hidden. All 10 have unique names. Everything was working fine until upgrading due to the apple certificate push issue. Once updated as soon as i open camera settings on any except the hidden one mentioned, when i try to go to another...
Like i said, nothing. After an update if i go into camera settings and then click on some other tab besides General i'm prevented from doing anything until i change the short name despite the fact nothing has changed in my system other than updating.
everytime i do an update, the next time i attempt to make any changes to any cameras i immediately get a message saying "your camera names must be unique and must begin with a letter" as soon as i go to any other tab besides general.... happens to all cameras. Won't let me do anything else...
