Add Sunrise Sunset to Time Plan Settings

Yep - for years it was hammered into me that if a service isn't required it shouldn't be running so when I first set up my cams years ago and until now I had no need for the cgi service and most of the others that are available so I disabled them. I was also using port forwarding until about a...

Add Sunrise Sunset to Time Plan Settings

BLUF: Figured it out. Didn't have the cgi service running. Yep. That simple. As a retired sysadmin / network admin I decided the best way to retain my sanity was to drag out an old POE dumb switch and setup a little test network where I could modify my spare empiretech cams at will using an...

Add Sunrise Sunset to Time Plan Settings

Yep - the username/password has been validated, the port 80 thing eliminated, tried the command (actually many versions of that api call/command) in the action set window - same 404 error. The camera was just reset last month as the IVS rules had stopped working. I factory reset the cam...

Add Sunrise Sunset to Time Plan Settings

It was many years ago I had something that required me to change the default port of my old cam for a reason I no longer remember - It became a habit continued to this day. Here is the find/inspect. Setting the cam back to port 80 made no difference so I put it back to what I'm using for now...

Add Sunrise Sunset to Time Plan Settings

Running that command in the browser gives me the same 404 error. Yep - http. I think I'm going to set the cam back to port 80 and see if that makes any difference. I've validated the user name and password also.

Add Sunrise Sunset to Time Plan Settings

This camera is running empire tech firmware from 2025 and I've never seen the orange GUI even when I first received the cam. I'm using the exact API call as shown in this post above. The only difference is I'm not using port 80 so I have to add in the port number to the IP address. If I remove...

Add Sunrise Sunset to Time Plan Settings

I've been attempting to implement the day/night switch via Blue Iris 5.9 on my T54IR-ZE-S3 running Web Version V5.01.0.2308726 but haven't gotten past this error "Web: No stream: 404." I'm using the api calls listed in this post...

Dahua / Empiretech IVS feed with Blue Iris - missing ONVIF source data field

Sending in ticket now. Follow-up answer from Ken at Blue Iris: For version .88, if the camera does not send "VideoSourceConfig" I will simply copy "VideoSource" to "VideoSrouceConfig" Thanks Ken

Dahua / Empiretech IVS feed with Blue Iris - missing ONVIF source data field

Just purchased a new IPC-T54IR-AS-3.6mm-S3, FirmwareVersion: 3.142.15OG001.0.R, and had to do the same thing with 00000 manually added to the second box or ONVIF events will not report into Blue Iris, version 5.9.9.85. Upgraded an older IPC-T2431T-AS-3.6mm-S2 to new FirmwareVersion...

Need help setting up a new Empire Tech camera

I've just started migrating from Foscam cameras to EmpireTech cameras. It took me a bit to do the first cam but I've got two up and running now on a test bench. Once winter's done I'll be mounting them outside and connecting them to BlueIris. I've read the cliff notes but there's a lot of...

Need help setting up a new Empire Tech camera

Thanks for that - in all the threads I've read here I can't recall any of them explaining that the config tool isn't necessary for this. I'll give it a shot on my next camera.

Need help setting up a new Empire Tech camera

Is there any way to do the "initialize" without the config tool? I never tried to use a browser for this.

Foscam R2C - Current Tool does not seem to be the latest.

Has anyone else gotten this while attempting to do the initial logon after doing a factory reset? And how did you get past it? I've disabled my firewall and used many different browsers but nothing I do will let this app fill in the default password, whatever Foscam may have changed it too...
