    I have this camera and have just ordered another. It is great and suits my needs well. The motor is audible when in operation as others have said. In my opinion that’s not really a hindrance unless your are operating in stealth or have it moving around loads at 2am while mounted above a bedroom.

    Is anyone running this PTZ on a blue iris+PC type system rather than a dedicated NVR? I’m contemplating switching to blue iris and hoping there is good operability for this cam.

    Swann NVR With Dahua Cameras Fix

    Thanks for the post @garycrist I managed to do this just recently after several evenings fiddling with the NVR. A tip from me to any future readers of this post. Update the firmware on your NVR and don’t try to do it from the Swann app - connect to the physical NVR to access all the settings.

    Just to hijack this thread… Would there be any alternative suggestions on cameras if one had a more flexible budget? I’m looking for camera(s) that perform well as per OP’s setting typical residential street (say identifying people approaching the bottom of the drive @ 5metre out to say...

    Swann 4K Ultra HD is on sale cheap at Costco. Unfortunately, most Swann cameras are not ONVIF-compliant. Has anyone hacked this IPC?

    Has anyone come across the specification for this camera (Swann 887MSFB)?. I have a few Swann cameras but I’m considering upgrading to a system with better nighttime performance (Dahua maybe). I’d like to compare the sensor size so I can more easily justify getting some new, more capable cams.
