    Progressive Liberal Hypocrisy

Wow, that sure nails it. I just wonder why it happens to almost every outlet? I can see it with the liberal sites, because liberals in general have moral compasses that continually blow with the wind. But conservatives? I incorrectly expect that their moral compass has an anchor, yet when...

    Progressive Liberal Hypocrisy

And look at the history: Drudge started out good, went to $hit. Breitbart started out good, went to $hit. Bongino Report started out good, went to $hit. Liberty Daily started out good, went to $hit. But zerohedge isn't heading there. OK, you can say anything you want to. You're the truth, and...

    Healthcare

From the article: "Americans without health insurance are 40 percent more likely to die than those with private insurance." What a gobbledygook statement that could be interpreted multiple different ways. Not to mention that everybody has the same likelihood of dying regardless of insurance.

    Hall of shame

Looking from Dell's perspective: If we socket the SSD, the selling price will go up and people will buy another brand that has soldered SSD. Looking from most buyers' persepective: Brand xxx is 20 bucks cheaper than Dell's, same specs, same capability. Why throw away 20 bucks just for the...

    Progressive Liberal Hypocrisy

Here's another indication that Zerohedge is climbing on the fake news bandwagon. An article about German stupidity with power generation (which I do not challenge) contained the following false statement: "Germany committed to replacing its nuclear plants with solar panels. Naturally this...

    The official "WTF" thread

I've got a few ground mount panels. I'm not saying they'd survive a tornado, just that they are a whole lot more securely mounted than those in that solar farm. The single crossarm mounting they have wouldn't have passed code or inspection at my place. Are the codes less restrictive in...

Comparing the IL to the S3

I tried CPAI when I first set up BI, and it didn't work out well. The system was unstable in that it had to be rebooted every week or two. I'm open to the possibility that it was fixable, I just don't have infinite time to spend on it. Since removing CPAI, the BI installation hasn't needed...

    Money & Economics

I complained when Biden released oil from the reserve for economic reasons, and judge Trump equally. Just a step closer to no fuel for the aircraft and warships if it ever gets close to that possibility. Since USA pumps some of its own oil, maybe I being too paranoid, but still think trying to...

Comparing the IL to the S3

Yet another thing I didn't know. I turned on "Intel" hardware decoding for the S3. I don't see any immediate difference in the image, but it's a cloudy day and all the colors are muted. I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks.

EOM (End of Marketing and Sales) for 5442-S3 announced

I've been running a 4MP 6mm S3 and a 4MP 6mm IL for a couple of months. I'm not offering to do the work of posting videos but can offer general conclusions from daily observations. Some context: Cameras are within a foot of each other, stacked vertically. The only motion detection used is...

    Money & Economics

Another $hit social media post that takes specific reported data out of context then warps it further. The source data is this: The data is only for workers who have access to a defined contribution plan, not the "typical" worker. It does not give any numbers for "saved for retirement" as...

    Money & Economics

I have accounts at a few different companies to not have all the eggs in one basket. Over the years, there's been an occasional contact from a brokerage wanting to be my financial advisor. The contacts are ramping up in frequency, and now, my plain vanilla bank is calling wanting to sell me...

    Windows 10 EOS (22H2) Oct. 14, 2025

Thanks for looking, I also looked around and anything I found would have been too much hacking for what it's worth. I have a dual boot laptop that runs linux and can also boot into win 10. I ran the tax program on that and carried the end product PDFs over to the office system to save and...

    Windows 10 EOS (22H2) Oct. 14, 2025

My machine is win 7. The HR Block program wants 10 or 11. The only compatibility modes available on win 7 are from win 95 to vista. I think there's a good chance it would run on win 7 but they don't want to have to support unsophisticated backwoods people like me.

Is the regime in Iran soon to be toast?

Changing the perspective by changing a few words: If the will of the European and American people is to miss an opportunity every election to stop creeping socialism and foreign invasion, they have only themselves to blame.

Is the regime in Iran soon to be toast?

One of the biggies for me was about 215 kids that were buried next to a church in Canada. Almost a hundred churches were burned down in reaction before it got debunked. I've never found anything to nail Glen Greenwald over.

Car slams into Florida school bus

When I was a teenager I was the front seat passenger in a crash that was identical except we weren't going nearly as fast. It was a Dodge Polara with a early 20s driver and a Hemi of course. The hood folded in front of me and the front bumper went under the bus. I guess it was the engine...

Your liberty : OS level age ( and soon ID ) verification ! 2026+

There are so many ways to circumvent the age verification unless they go to something like fingerprint or iris scanning, with everyone who uses a computer having to register their fingerprint or iris scan to the government. Or maybe everybody get an implanted chip. This feels to me like it's...

Outdoor to indoor Cat 5e cable runs

It's been a few years since I looked at the codes. My memory, which needs to be verified, is that you're allowed to run up to 50' of the outdoor cable from the building entrance before switching over to CMR or CMP.

Is the regime in Iran soon to be toast?

I'll believe this as much as just about anything else the government says. More likely IMO that Kuwait agreed to be the scapegoat for something else. Other things we're supposed to believe examples: Inflation going down. Economy is great. The El Paso laser target was a party balloon. Epstein...
