EmpireTech NVR / 5442 S3 Cams - Webplugin Not Functioning in Edge Browser

Ahhh maybe that ought to be the way I go. I downloaded SmartPPS lite but not exactly sure how to get to my device. It finds it but what I am seeing is more like a people organizer than an NVR program.

EmpireTech NVR / 5442 S3 Cams - Webplugin Not Functioning in Edge Browser

I have Blue Iris and It's an all other set of worms. Setting the camera's up is not the issue. It's getting to the videos that have been taken and searching and cutting I am having issues with.

EmpireTech NVR / 5442 S3 Cams - Webplugin Not Functioning in Edge Browser

Did you have to install anything other than Firefox to get this? I am not getting the options and only 1 camera coming up with no video.

EmpireTech NVR / 5442 S3 Cams - Webplugin Not Functioning in Edge Browser

Is there any other NVR that we could purchase that will connect to our dahau / Empiretech cameras that would not have to rely on an old tech web browser? I am about to give up on this thing.

EmpireTech NVR / 5442 S3 Cams - Webplugin Not Functioning in Edge Browser

This is exactly what I am experiencing. If I can get the controls in IE the video does not show up. If I am in Edge or some other browser, the video shows up but no extra controls.

I am sorry, I could not find the search to look for an answer as I am sure this has been addressed. I have been using my NVR for about 2 years now. I don't check it often and only when I need to. This being said It's been 6 months or so since I have looked at it. Now using Win 11 and Edge with...

Looks Like Internet Explorer Died Today

Okay guys, I really don't know why but I had to setup IE compatibility mode again. For some reason it was not recognizing that the IE interface that I was using on the other cameras was using backwards compatibility for IE even though the IE Icon over on the right was showing up. For some reason...

Looks Like Internet Explorer Died Today

I removed it from Chrome. I tried to go into Internet Explorer and get this message. I don't understand why Dahau can't make a tool we can use to get consistant results. Yes I know we are a very small portion of the population that uses these cameras but it gets frustrating. I do have an email...

Looks Like Internet Explorer Died Today

I have an interesting scenario. I have been using Internet Explorer to access my Dahua cameras no problem at all. I still have access to them and can change settings and all. That being said, I just got a new camera from Andy yesterday (different models than I had before) and using the same...

    CodeProject.AI Version 2.0

I could be wrong because I can’t even get mine to work on the CPU but if I am not mistaken the version that when it loads it automatically looks to see if you have a compatible GPU. If you don’t, it loads the CPU version.

    New to NVR request direction

I got my door cam up and running now. Everything is working well on BI as well as my NVR. The OpenALPR is working great so now 1 more camera to go out front and I should be covered. Thanks for everyone's help.

I finally think I have the ALPR camera mounted where it will be permanent. Seems to be working well.

    New to NVR request direction

I got the 5442 2.8 and I think it's going to work outwell, which brings me to one more camera question. I am looking for a 180 degree camera so I can possibly cover the full front of my house with 1 camera. What is your thought on the IPC-Color4k-T180 that Andy sells. It looks like there were...

    CodeProject.AI Version 2.0

I find it interesting people are complaining about a free product that may or may not work for them. If the free product does not work for you, maybe move to another product that does. I happen to use OpenALPR at the moment, mainly because I am new and want to make sure my current setup works...
