1 hour time difference between time in camera image and in SMTP-dialog

Hi, my change was to specify Date instead of Week - a beginning date and an end date. This worked for me but may not for you, or you may not even have this option. It was just a thought.

    Dahua 5442/T54IR vs the rest

If there are licensing issues with modifying the modified names perhaps a product list translating Dahuanese to Empireese could be posted for our reference, somewhere like the Wiki or Tools area?

1 hour time difference between time in camera image and in SMTP-dialog

Set DST by Date(s)? I have done this successfully, and on devices without a DST setting used an earlier time zone location as a workaround.

    Polycarbonate/Acrylic dome replacement

To restore plastic the surfaces need to be polished until smooth. There are polishes for plastic and acrylic. These can be found for automotive detailing as well as other uses. For severe damage such as headlight lenses and worse, sanding before polishing is done. I suspect your situation can be...

Dahua WizColor 5x59-PRO and SmartLight 5x59-IL new series

I have no complaints, but I am really not one to ask yet because I am a complete novice. It would be a long time before I would be able to intelligently answer. I have a lot to learn about everything and limited time in my schedule, but I am chipping away. All is well!

My first Dahua camera is out for delivery to me now. What do folks here recommend for setup of their cameras? DMSS, NVR, etc.? edit: going to read the DMSS privacy policy

Dahua WizColor 5x59-PRO and SmartLight 5x59-IL new series

Being the noob that I am I asked Andy the same thing, not realizing my order was an international shipment. Not a problem. Now I know. :)

Newbie Question - Amcrest NVR With Dahua Cameras?

Thank you! Just trying to get a feel for what to expect when I try this. I think this version of the NVR came out around 2020-2022. I'm not thrilled with it but I prefer not to have to replace it at this time. Thanks again.

Newbie Question - Amcrest NVR With Dahua Cameras?

I have an Amcrest NV4108E-A2 NVR. I would like to pair it with Dahua cameras. Ideally, I would like it only to record events as opposed to continuously. Would the later and soon to be released model cameras trigger this NVR to record in this way?

Ubiquiti's New UNVR-Instant-Kit (Comes with UniFi Protect, ViewPoint, 1TB HDD, and 4x G5 Turret Cameras)

I didn't see the price at first glance. Wow! It might not be a strong system but it is a name-brand system at a price that should attract new users. Never mind. Sorry, I misread things.

    Another Newbie In The House

That is an excellent question. I normally use the Tapo and Wyze apps to receive event notifications and then to view through them. This is where I have more issues with connecting with the C120 and trying to access event videos. However, the image is soft when viewed through the app, the nvr or...

    Another Newbie In The House

Thanks, guys. I will definitely read those threads. I did read the focal length one when I found it. Yes, the cheapie cams, 1 Wyze OG and 4 C120s that I bought were intended to be toys to play with and to see if there would be a "what next". "What next" came with a cheap DVR with the same...

    Another Newbie In The House

Hello, techno-voyeurs! I bought Wyze OGs last October to get my feet wet with regard to security cams. Learned about RTSP, ONVIF and Wyze’s lack of same. Switched to Tapo C120s to play around with. Haven’t had much time to do this for months and am trying to get back to this now. Thank you for...
