Hi I have a few dahua cameras connected to my dahua nvr. One of them is installed in a low light area the image is almost black in colour mode. Am I right that I can tweak the shutter speed settings? If so I understand it to be via a Web browser with the camera connected via a poe injector...

    Field of view /Lens choice

Hi I am hoping for some help. I am currently switching away from the ring doorbell and floodlight cam. I have successfully installed the reolink POE doorbell that I am very happy with. The flood light camera replacement on the other hand is disappointing. I have replaced it with a full colour...

Reolink cameras are garbage and their reddit moderators are unprofessional trunk slammers

Hi I can't comment on redit but I have the POE doorbell Cam as a move from Ring. The app on that has no adds at all. It's not all that I had hoped it would be but it's already had an update that fixed some of the issues and it's definitely an upgrade from Ring. It can be set not to go into...

Safest way to view NVR away from home

I'll have to do some reading about openvpn I just assumed it was similar to other paid vpns. As far as I was aware the commercial vpn is encrypting the traffic thus keeping bank details and alike safe. As well as allowing my to access video streaming.

Safest way to view NVR away from home

To be honest. Remote access to the NVR is not essential. Just the doorbell. As for VMS sorry for my ignorance. What is this? As for the openVPN. My knowledge is limited to the commercial ones. I have expressVPN. I was at one point looking to get a router with the vpn installed on it to encrypt...

Hi I have a Virgin SuperHub 3, Reolink POE Doorbell and NVR2108HS-8P-1. I have setup the doorbell to record to the NVR via onvif. Dahua POA cctv cameras in Reolink POE nvr

Ah ok. Just to reply to some of the questions thrown back. I didn't use the doorbell with the dahua nvr because as far as I was aware it will only function as a camera thus loosing the doorbell notifications. As for the dahua cctv cameras I have them recording 24/7 I got sick of looking for...
