    Maybe I do not get you right. But why not just set-up the network path to the NAS in Blue Iris as it is without mapping a drive? Today it is V: and tomorrow it is the path on your NAS. Maybe temporarily any other network path while you data moving action is ongoing.

    Are you referring to this setting? I have SMD switched of and set-up IVS on the camera. Currently I am focusing on Frigate for detection and recording, use the camera detection for comparison only and play around with Blue Iris. Not yet decided in what direction I will finally go.

    Beginner Question: AI or dump camera for Frigate

    I just checked out some NVR. I m not yet sure if for example a Dahua NVR4108HS-P-EI or NVR4104-P-EI would be the right choice for me. But they are not so expensive and do not draw so much power. There might be no benefit to go with Frigate.
