    If I decide to go with a Blue Iris system I will need a PC. Would one of the fanless mini PCs from Ali-Express work? How would I connect a 2TB hard drive? Can it connect through a USB port?

    If I got a Dahua or Hikvision NVR and later decided I wanted to go to Blue Iris, would I be able to use the NVR as a POE switch? Or would I need to get rid of the NVR and get a new switch?

    I would like to evaluate Blue Iris. Could I load the demo version onto my laptop and use an Amcrest camera? Would I need to plug the camera into a switch (don't have one) or can I plug it directly into my router?
