    I have IPC-T5442T-ZE and IPC-T2231T-ZS-S2 cameras. Is there any new firmware for either one that allows detection of animals? Also the daylight image quality of the T2231T-ZS is fairly poor. Does anyone have any recommended settings? Thank you!

    So with P2P off I do not get any notifications. I read a few threads about the security risks of P2P and would rather not use it. Is there some other way to get notifications without using P2P?

    I have an Empiretech NVR 8ch 5 EL AI and Dahua camera IPC-T5442T-ZE that I am working on setting up correctly. On my android phone DMSS app I can see the live view but the recorded events don't play. See sceenshot. Does the NVR need be be configured somehow for DMSS to work?

    When I try to open an event recording I see a % indicator on the screen which increases from 1% and usually stops around 94%. Then the blue circling icon just keeps spinning. No recorded video ever plays.
