    IF you get face detection working, you shoulf be able to have the camera run face detection and the NVR run Human/Vehicle detection. And... Some of the NVRs are limited on how much of what can be used, such as no Face and hum/veh. It's one or the other. The higher end NVRs give more AI options.

    I haven't installed an envisalink with a dsc panel, but other communicators I have used with dsc panels needed certain versions to support remote arm/disarm. Envisalink may do all versions of the 832.

    Even if a dual IR/White camera never came around, I'd take a 180 cam that had the internals of two T54IR-AS-S3 1/1.8 4MP cameras. Until then I supppse I am just stuck with putting two cameras up.

    I'm pretty sure a 2x 4mp 1/1.2" IR/White Light 180 camera would sell well, especially if it had good IVS. I'm in a more rural area, so the IR does a lot better than color at night.     My camera drops sending signal around 2pm everyday and comes back on around 6pm. See Pics.

    Is the camera in a hot place? I once had a camera looking at a concrete courtyard, two sides were glass high rise, the one side concrete, and the other side open to the evening sun. The sun would reflect off the glass and bake the camera on the wall, which would overheat and shut down.

    Rock and water attract lightning. Rock seems worse in my experience. I've had more customers on rocky land get hit than on lakes and ponds.
