Need a cost-effective monitor for the stand-alone NVR I will be installing in the shed, any recommendations?

if 1080p and more affordable .. try one of these imho

None of the cameras connected to the shed NVR will be 4K, only 2mp and 4mp. I would think a 1920 x 1080 monitor would suffice

quick look at the titles ( not the specs - you'd need to double check )
looks like one has HDMI and VGA ports, and the other HDMI and display port
Do you need a VGA port or a display port ?
