Blue Iris, CodeProject AI and AI Inspector

Folks,

I have no idea what's going on - tried doing some searching through these forums and through Chat GPT without luck...

Basic problem - I'm getting motion triggering the AI review - and when I put the .dat file through the AI Inspector, I see that it's ID'd a person and even a face with a high enough probability, but it's not displaying as an alert.

You can see the AI inspector output below. The issue seems to be that something is erroring out (I assume - due to the red triangle with the exclamation point).

The settings for Alert Confirmation and AI are also shown below. From what I can see, everything should be working fine, but it's not.

I'm thinking of changing the "To Confirm" to look at all models instead of the specified set, since I have plenty of headroom on the server, but I'm not even certain that leaving that field blank, or using a * will do that.

Does anyone have any idea what might be going on?

Cheers,

SK

What version of BI are you using? I no longer use CPAI; but on your AI tab of the Blue Iris Settings the list of objects does not look quite right to me. Are you really expecting to detect elephants, zebra and giraffe etc. I always though it was best that the list of objects be paired down to what you are actually interested in! Also are you doing license plate detection also?

I'm using version 6 (showing as 5.9.9.99 I believe). I simply copied out all the objects that are included in the model. And - I assure you - if I capture an elephant on my cameras, I REALLY want to know about it :-).

My figuring - if I can get the dang thing working, I can always pare back. It's only a bit more GPU...

If you're not using CPAI any more - have you moved to something better - and is it as integrated into BI?

Yes I am using the current release version 6.06.4 with the integrated AI, you do realize that the more object you ask it to find the longer it takes to process each request you are up to 5,000 ms near the end mine are under 1,690 ms!

I also would like to also suggest that rather than try to get everything working all at once, you try just object detection and not bother with license plates and faces, unless you like the throw the kitchen sink at it approach!
