Looks like the contractor pissed off the home owner and inspector so much that :

A house party to allow people to identify code / quality of work violations

I had a contractor cheat me out of money for a refurb job done at a Howard Johnson's.
He was back East ,me on Oklahoma. He stiffed me and said "Sue me", fat chance!

I did something he did not expect. I paid my self made 1099 taxes on the expected sum.
That got the bastard to call me, wanting me to retract the 1099 and he would pay me cash.
I told him "Enjoy the audit and don't cheat me anymore".

Sorry for always sharing stories but these videos bring back memories. When PS3 or 2, can't remember came out, they sold out like even the latest PS5 did when released. And always before Christmas, so like any father I did everything I could to get one for my son. At midnight at Walmart I was in line to get one, which I was able to, but first time I have ever been police escorted out to my vehicle, they were offering this service back then. No I did not steal it, lol...oh and yes it was actual police not a rent-a-cop... ;)

New Bride Arrested for DUI After 0.00 on the Breath Test

The woman was arrested the day after her wedding for DUI, even though her breath tested at 0.00 - and the blood tests were negative as well.

This video from Lehto's Law discusses a troubling case where a newlywed woman from Fresno was wrongfully arrested for DUI in Phoenix, despite being completely sober (0:47-1:01).

Key details of the incident:

  • The Arrest: The woman was pulled over on December 29th, 2024, allegedly for traffic violations (1:20-1:40). Despite blowing a 0.00 on her breathalyzer test—often called "triple zeros"—she was arrested by Phoenix police based on the officers' subjective observations of her red eyes and pupil size (1:53-2:11).
  • Lack of Evidence: Subsequent blood tests confirmed that she had no drugs or alcohol in her system (1:09-1:13, 7:32-7:37). The charges were eventually dismissed in April, and her license suspension was overturned (3:02-3:14).
  • Allegations of Misconduct: The woman has filed a federal lawsuit against the city and the officers involved. Body cam footage allegedly recorded an officer stating, "They're going to kick me off the squad if I don't get a DUI," which her attorneys argue suggests the use of unofficial quotas or pressure to make arrests (2:16-2:29, 6:06-6:13).
  • Personal Impact: The arrest caused significant hardship, including delays in the victim's cancer treatment, negative impacts on her nursing studies, and the disruption of her honeymoon (3:28-3:36).
Steve Lehto concludes that this case highlights the dangers of using subjective "indicators" (like glassy eyes) to justify arrests when objective tests (like breathalyzers) yield negative results, suggesting that internal pressure or "performance incentives" can lead to such wrongful interventions (4:59-5:11, 7:46-8:58).
