Insane! They did catch the guys thanks to my LPR shot. They have really stepped up enforcement since some guy with a boat load of cameras on his house has been complaining non stop

Its Harris County, so no doubt they will get a $5 bail and be back at it

They hauled ass right after the shooting, so the LPR isn't as clean as it could be

4 houses down, gutter was hit. Brick covered in lead behind it. There has to be more damage that hasn't yet been spotted

Wonder why they picked that house?

Its really odd, of the houses they would target I figure it would be the guy with all the cameras who keeps getting them sent to jail! That house to my understanding doesn't really have much going on, and the next house is an old lady who 100% is not involved

There is a junk house down the road I'm also working on getting the city to take action on, the only thing I can think is that it was the target, but its way further down, so doesn't really line up with what happened

I guess it was just random? Very strange

4 Hispanic males, all with the dumbass edgar cut. No surprises

Wonder why they picked that house?
I'm kink of thinking it was the house's fault for being in the way of bullets that didn't care where they were going. :idk:

Racist houses trying to get these outstand Citizens* [Citation Needed] arrested!

How do you have so much crazy stuff going down all the time?

Craziest thing in my neighborhood so far was a couple thieves that stole a 6-pack of Coke from an unlocked truck. Half the time I forget to close the garage door. My daughters once left the front door wide open during a 4-day weekend away (probably how we got mice).

We get door checkers every now and then. But not near my cams for quite some time now. Package thieves mostly in the front of the subdivision. There were a few guys going round grabbing tailgates off of pick-ups several months back, but not on my street.

Unless they meant to get your house but simply misjudged with the adrenalin & picked the wrong one. I don't suppose spotting the cameras is easy at speed.

It might be worth exploring some bullet proof glass for your front windows or bullet capturing film as the danger here is getting hit by shots made when you don't expect it and are in you're front rooms wandering around. I think I'd also invest in high security doors, flood lighting, body armour and an AR if legal in your state. That way if they attempt entry the doors will resist, the lights can be used to blind them and the AR...

Alternatively, if AR / body armour not legal, if you like exercise, a couple of trained malligators (Mallinois) & maybe a secure panic room.

I don't think anything was targeted, just the usual local Hispanic BS

Its this silly bowl cut they all love nowadays. Its like they borrowed their moms mixing bowl and cut around it

Don't forget the Nissan Altima(s) with a spoiler and a temp tag parked on the front lawn

Surprised they can afford to live in your neighbourhood, houses look expensive & neighbourhood nice, unless they just travel there to be idiots in rich neighbourhoods.

Either way, I'd be worried about catching a stray bullet in my front rooms. Only takes 1 idiot. Guess without major expense it's difficult to defend against. There is a company in London that makes ballistic windows, & with all the guns in the US, I'm guessing there are plenty over there, but equally I'm guessing they're very expensive.

Ok, so where does the name Edgar come into play?
The Edgar cut, otherwise known as the Edgar or the Edgar haircut, is a hairstyle often associated with Latino culture. In the 2010s and 2020s, the haircut became popular with members of Generation Z and Millennials. The haircut first became popular in US border states in the Southwest, such as Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California. The haircut has been compared to a bowl cut, a similar haircut with a straight fringe.

The Edgar hairstyle is usually characterized as the front hair having straight fringes, or bangs, along with the sides tapered. The hairstyle can be worn with any hair texture, including more wavy and curly hair. The Edgar hairstyle is most prominent among young Latinos.

The origin for the name Edgar is unconfirmed, although it is often misattributed to having been named after former Seattle Mariners baseball player Edgar Martínez in early 2019.

The hairstyle is associated with the Mexican Takuache aesthetic, often also called the Takuache haircut. The hairstyle has been found to have similarities to the hairstyles of Indigenous tribes such as the Jumano. The haircut is slangily called the "cuh" in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, after the song Cuh 956 by Dagobeat.

The Edgar hairstyle has been met with a mixed reception. A professor at the University of Texas at El Paso noted in 2023 that the teen popularity of the styles makes it "a really big marker of this generation", whereas a barber from Corpus Christi, Texas, called the hairstyle "not a favorite amongst parents". Some have associated the haircut with "gangster culture". In one instance, a restaurant owner in San Antonio, Texas, banned the Edgar due to this association.

The haircut was banned in El Salvador public schools in August 2025 following a directive issued by education minister Karla Trigueros.
