I am trying to use an IPC-HDBW4831-ASE camera connected to a Uniview NVR302-08E-P8-B. I can set up the IVS functions of the camera , e.g. the tripwire function, from the camera web interface but these only trigger actions local to the camera. The Uniview NVR interface doesn't seem to recognise the IVS functions via the VCA menu (or any other). Is there any way of getting access to the IVS functions on the NVR, e.g. to trigger recording to the hard disk?

At the moment I can think of a cludge that uses the alarm output of the camera connected to the alarm input of the NVR but should this not work over ONVIF or how do these cameras communicate this type of information?
