Hello y'all, I've recently purchased this camera off a eBay for $160. The specs seem to be decent with a 1/2.5" sensor and 25x optical zoom and the seller said it's been tested and working, but I am still unsure if this was good buy. From the light research I've done, this seems to be a Hikvision rebrand and I want to know if other people on this forum have owned this specific camera and I would like to know what their experience was like with it. The model number on the box is esnp1a14-ir/25x.

Yeah those were a big deal for awhile. I think Nelly's security had a you tube video showing off that model about 3-4 years ago. ok so it was 7 years ago. :)
he says a different part# than yours, but the case is identical.

I have a couple of Hikvision models, but honestly, have always felt the original Web User Interface more clunky than Dahua's Web Interface which is simpler to use

Size alone makes it more desirable to opt for the model with the 1/2.5" sensor

I also have to add that over the years I've had several Users with Dahua cameras and they've always been the happiest people I interacted with.

Dahua is available here in Italy, but not very common. I'd love to try one someday.
