So this is a little off subject but it is something I truly believe this is how God made us, to take rest one day a week. With our minds going 24/7, I believe it accounts for many of our illnesses/stress...
For me this is not hard to believe since we are made to sleep daily, about 1/3 of our life is sleep.

Also I understand that Jesus is the Sabbath in that we can take rest in Him...

I ask 5 minutes of your time. Put down your phone, click on the link below, close your eyes and feel God's presence:

Oh BTW, Psalms are songs ;)

When I was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago, the initial prognosis was grim with the probability that I'd be gone in a few months. I was gripped with fear like never before. Friends and family gave great support but what got me through it was Psalm 23. Further testing revealed there's a drug for my specific gene mutation that stops the growth for a period of time. I'm right at the statistical median for growth to resume, and when the fear hits I run right back to Psalm 23.

Hang in there Brother...

Our family watched David, the Angel Studios movie that recently came out. Even though is a modern animation, it was a good watch. When David wrote Psalm 23 it is full of his life's experiences and with in mind all he went through in life yet he still held strong in his faith and trust in God. Another good watch is House of David TV series, fyi.

Great men and women of faith always get my attention...Paul, wow, all he went through pails in comparison to anything I have experienced...How can David and Paul write so beautifully after all they went through? Amazes me...

Still watching this but I fully agree there is no such thing as Radical Islam. Islam is Islam, read the Koran, it is far from the Bible teaching of Love. Not even close. I sometimes refer to it as a Book of War. Yeah, kinda like the Old Testament, in a way, which is full of wars and yes Infidels are kinda like Gentiles, but the difference is the Koran states to kill those opposed to Allah/Islam, where as the Old Testament, God tells the Israelites to stay away from the Gentiles and to not marry them. Why? because of their false gods/idols.

Keep in mind this is why I am opposed to Islam here in the states, they are not here to assimilate, and I am not talking converting to Christianity, I am talking about them becoming American. So take this in the same concept as God keeping the Gentiles from His people, the Israelites/Jews, where the gentiles would/will bring false gods/doctrine with them.

So why does not every Muslim do Jihad and kill us all? Not everyone is a Killer nor will fight or lay their life down for their beliefs. It is in every religion. This is my opinion and it is how I see/observe people..

I am a very basic person. Many of us need to step back, throw aside all the rhetoric/news/etc., and see things for what they really are. Be careful of buzz words.

Good example; A man/women will have an affair and call it a mistake. WRONG, it is neither an affair nor a mistake. It is adultery, SIN, period. Call it for what it is, but we all take the soft/watered down approach. Why is this a big deal, if you don't call it for what it Truly is we will not fully repent nor acknowledge that it is sinning. Now this is my take, are you forgiven if you bring this to God yet tell others it was only a mistake? This I cannot answer but to me it is like someone saying I borrowed that instead of saying I Stole that. Or saying it was a White Lie. ??? What is a White Lie, I was told this came from the Indians about the White Man Lie. Come on people. a Lie is a Lie, period.

Ok, it is early and I am going all over the place with this :)
