Any thoughts on this PTZ? Google doesn't pull up much on the brand. Reviews seem to be mediocre at best, but there just isn't much out there one way or the other.

Why I want to try it out:

Only $1000 shipped from China - 1K isn't cheap, but compared to other big PTZs with similar specs, it's cheap.
2MP with 1/1.9" so should be great for seeing things in the dark.
Laser IR with advertised 500M range, again great for night time.
36x zoom and starts at 5.7mm, so the upper limit of 205mm is better than the Dahua 45x ptz I have that tops out at like 177mm.

If I get it, it will be the most expensive camera I've got and my 4th PTZ. I have the original 2mp 25x Dahua everyone else got back in the day, the newer mini 25x dahua (4mp I think), and a 45x (4 or 8 MP, don't remember) dahua on a one-size-too-small sensor. The only one that's even worth having in the dark is the old school 25x 2mp dahua. The other two are fine during the day, but I need something for seeing in the dark in the 300-800' range.

Every other camera with these specs is $2500+.

Am I crazy to get this thing?

Well, I went ahead and pulled the trigger! Scheduled for delivery in a few weeks. Pics and videos when it comes in. Based on the specs alone, I expect it to outperform all of my PTZs by a large margin. Just hope the brand is good quality.

On another note, I just received an Illustra thermal camera today and it seems to be just fine. Web interface is a little glitchy but the camera itself is working as expected.
