eBay now removing listings on Dahua cameras due to national security?

I would wager that the complaints from sellers are through the roof, especially when the policy infraction does not apply in most cases. Allowing AI to solely interpret policy is pretty poor implementation. But this is what happens when you try to use cheap labor who can barely speak and understand English. You end up getting little from the little investment.

I know this is an older thread, but I appealed back in September and they came back saying the following:

We reviewed your appeal of an action on your account. Upon further review, we’re unable to grant your appeal because the listings aren’t following our Electronic equipment policy. This product can’t be sold on eBay because the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has deemed it to pose an unacceptable risk to the national security of the United States or the security and safety of United States persons. For more details, see the FCC List of Equipment and Services Covered by Section 2 of the Secure Networks Act.

I don't think this is changing anytime soon.

Ebay sucks in the first place. The best places to sell IP camera is in the classifieds section and your neighbors
 
I see the Amcrest Direct seller has an OEM version of the Dahua Color 4k Bullet in 8Mp with a 1/1.2 sensor and 2160 resolution on Ebay. I'm sure some features are choked off but could work for some people.
most of their affordable cams in 4-5-6 MP have a sensor that'd be good for a 2MP cam ( 1/2.9 or something) so they're undesireable for experienced users.

You can try and state for personal use only - although yes, ebay is actively taking down those listings
