This jerk backed his Lexus into my office neighbor's Camry:

and then parked 30' away in the same lot for a few hours!! Later they drove away, and I caught a plate!

Does that look like an E or an F? I don't have any other captures of plates ending with 259, so this is the first time we've seen it.

edit: now that they've 'fessed up, I'll anonymize them a bit.

On the Reolink thread I discuss that my Reolink POE doorbell didn't capture audio on this clip for some reason.

We got 'er! She's one of the neighbors in the office park :banghead:

When my other (large and intimidating) neighbor confronted her with the video, she got very flustered. "I didn't know what to do!!!!!"

Yeah. How 'bout you leave a note and take responsibility for your actions.

I hope we don't have any sprinklers in this area, here :banghead: :

This one's not a tenant.

Wouldn't that model Lexus have a back-up camera? I use my back-up camera all the time when backing up!
it's just another thing to ignore while backing for a lot of drivers. 70% of the time up here you start the car up here, the cam is clouded with salt/snow/ice.

In this case, it showed her what she had just hit!

Earlier in thread when you were trying to identify a character in plate, had you already shown police footage?
Reason I ask is until a few years ago I was unaware that most states have a logic system to their alphanumeric sequencing so they only need a partial to identify. I’ve noticed here in MO that all the trucks in similar age and make/model as mine start with 1 number, 3 letters, then 2 numbers. An LEO friend said that each will further break down to things like color and county issued in.

We didn't have to go to LEO because my neighbor went door to door in my office complex, with my footage, and the driver fessed up! I have the original footage in any case.
