A Healthy Competitor - G6 Pro Turret

A feature requested 2 years ago still has not been implemented is concerning, especially for LPR. AI / Pro features should be AI / Pro features - not anything inferior.
I wonder if it will be possible someday to unlock the full potential of these UniFi cameras through custom firmware versus the out of the box experience

I hope eventually they are going to implement this. I'm using Ubiquiti network stuff for many years already, and they are making it better and better with every update,
UDM-Pro for example, nowadays it's many times better than it was after initial release in 2019, and they still improving it.

And one more data point, snapshots from the middle of a cloudy day.
Notice, that T54PRO-ZE looks a bit better than T54IR-ZE-S3 in this case.

And G6 Pro with really good static image, buggy WB, and fuzzy car :(

So is the Camera GUI on Ubiquiti locked down? Or just very limited?

Slow shutter speed on the G6 Pro? Who knows because you can't get in there and see what it is.
But... it's an Ubiquiti device, it should just work, right?
Today I've changed config to make the shutter faster, still, the snapshot is not as good as from other two cameras.
I think the daytime quality could be improved by firmware updates. But it looks like night time problems is a result of the sensor IR performnce that is not fixable .

Technically, you can log in to the camera, but you can only change network config, update firmware, and stuff like that. Nothing related to the video settings.
There is very limited number of settings accessible through Protect interface, but nothing comparable to Dahua cameras.

@Molbo has pointed a lot of the deficiencies in these Ubiquiti cameras - I very much appreciate that
I installed a G6 turret (non-pro) yesterday in place of an old 5442 Fixed Turret (Dahua) - the difference is actually remarkable. My 5 year old Dahua camera blows the G6 turret out of the water 24/7; the difference is quite noticeable especially at sunset and sunrise. I am looking at my Blue Iris screen right now and the only camera image quality which looks DULL and out of whack is the G6 Turret with its poor low-light performance especially. The Dahua cameras are leap years ahead in image sensor quality, thanks to Starlight in the higher end models @EMPIRETECANDY
Someone on another forum called me a scammer because they thought I was only present on the Ubiquiti discussion board for falsely promoting Dahua cameras for their superb performance all around the clock (day and night) - I got backlashed by the Ubiquiti fanboys, Fact is, nothing can hide the truth.
Therefore, I'm glad we had this discussion.

To add-on, going with Ubiquiti cameras is a huge step back. The versatility of Blue Iris is unmatched
