US Elections (& Politics) :)

LOL--- he's trolling... but why??? What is behind this not-so-slight of hand misdirection??

Whatever

Asked by NYT if he thinks there are limits to his powers, Trump says:“…one thing: my own morality. My own mind. It’s the only thing that can stop me.”
"I don;t need International Law"

He seems to be serious and he seems to think he can do anything he wants.
He's mentally deranged sociopath and his narcissism has over taken rational thought

The majority of those in attendance yesterday said they felt it would be a long haul and are not looking forward to it.
They said it was no a good investment.

I think some also know he changes his mind with the wind and dont trust him to have their backs

Maybe its because it was a stupid fucking move by the Toddler in Chief to begin with

"I think" and "maybe" are your answers. So, you really do not know how many oil companies will be going back into Venezuela.

Unfortunately, I think TDS is behind most of your posting these days.

I think your lack of TRS is behind most of your posting.
Trump Reality Syndrome - and you ain't got it

You and other cult members fail to honestly discuss or weigh in with facts and reasoned arguments on the big important obvious clusterfucks that revolve around Trump weekly, and instead pick at the edges hoping for a "gotcha. Cute

Reading helps

In the middle of a conversation, Trump asks a high-ranking Halliburton executive:
“When did you withdraw from Venezuela?”

The response was devastating:
“In 2019… precisely because of the sanctions imposed by your own government.”

Venezuela never broke agreements. The one who broke them was Washington.

He’s now going around the courts with National Emergency declarations to protect his own illegal action and because he no longer thinks they apply to him.

Trump Declares National Emergency To Protect Venezuelan Oil Funds Held By U.S. Treasury

President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order Jan. 9 declaring a national emergency to block judicial seizure of Venezuelan oil funds held in U.S. Treasury accounts, a move aimed at advancing U.S. foreign policy and national security objectives.

The order prohibits any court-ordered seizure, attachment, or transfer of designated Venezuelan government funds derived from oil sales or related transactions, placing them under custodial control of the United States pending future sovereign disposition.

Obama administration. Obama probably advised agents to bow down in front of the driver. He was good at bowing. Hard to believe that nearly 12 years later the CBP agents still prefer to get run over? Haven't they had an updated course since then on car avoidance tactics?

"There is little doubt that the safest course for a driver faced with an oncoming agent is not to try to drive forward." << better yet, don't put one's self in that position.

This makes for a good illustration of how I see the big picture from one viewpoint. Trump is acting like the democrats have been acting. He doesn't have the same goals, so the dems hate him, even though he's adopted their tactics. The conservatives don't like the dishonest and strong arm tactics that the dems have used, and at least some of them don't like their own guy doing the same thing, even when they might agree with the goal.

Oregon provides an example, as I assume other blue states do. The dem majority runs a massive wealth distribution scheme via high taxes and fees. To stay in power there's a money laundering scheme where they send much of the money they confiscate with the taxes and fees to unions and NGOs, which in turn make campaign contributions and voter drives. They don't give a whit about what the people of the state want, as illustrated by the recently passed huge increase in gas tax and vehicle fees. The dems passed it over the whining of the population. Then the population overwhelmingly backed a petition to put it up for a statewide vote. Seeing they're going to lose, the dems now want to repeal the law they passed a few months ago so it can't be voted down. Then they can pass a replacement law that won't be on the statewide ballot. The game of dems vs. the people might continue until one side wears out first. The dems are able to shut down road repairs and snow plowing until the people give in, and if they do, it won't be the first time.

This is getting Syrious

Next, Trump gonna use this weapon to give the Iranian Ayatollah unworldly diarrhea. Next images from Iran and Syria could be mass piles of poop in the streets.

Folks something significant is happening right now and
the reaction from global leaders tells the story.

European heads of state are openly warning that the rules based international order is unraveling. What they are really reacting to is the United States reasserting its independence after decades of being bound to systems that diluted our authority and sovereignty.

The White House has now issued a memorandum pursuant to Executive Order 14199 directing federal agencies to withdraw the United States from dozens of international organizations conventions and treaties that no longer serve the interests of the American people. This follows the broader Defund Act effort which required a full review of where our money power and influence have been flowing for years.

This is a course correction. American taxpayer dollars are no longer being automatically routed into international bodies that operate without accountability and routinely push policies that undermine our constitutional framework. Decision making authority is returning home where it belongs.

This shift is about restoration of our republic. A sovereign nation governs itself. It does not outsource its laws its economy or its moral authority to unelected global institutions.

The same principle applies to what is unfolding in Venezuela. There is a deliberate effort to mischaracterize recent actions as regime change or imperial expansion. That framing misses the real objective.

Venezuela has long functioned as a major financial and logistical hub for transnational criminal networks tied into a larger global banking and laundering system. Those networks have helped fund destabilization operations narcotics trafficking and shadow finance pipelines that serve interests far beyond Venezuela itself. (Think Smartmatic, Dominion, Maduro / Chavez and CIA doing color revolutions in 72 countries over last 20 years, including here in the U.S.)

Disrupting that apparatus strikes at one of the financial engines that has supported the New World Order system for years. Weakening those channels limits the ability of non state and supranational actors to move money influence and power across borders without consequence.

This moment is about reestablishing lawful order rooted in national sovereignty. It is about restoring constitutional governance and ending the era where America was expected to bankroll and obey systems designed by others.

The anxiety coming from global elites is revealing. Power is shifting back to the people through their nation states. Change is happening….

The republic is reasserting itself and the world is adjusting to that reality.
