US Elections (& Politics) :)

Are any of you who know history watching the American Revolution series on PBS? I've read criticisms of some wokeness that spread into it, but overall, is it historically accurate? I was one of the idiot teenagers who ignored everything I could and barely slid through the history classes. Now I'm realizing how stupid that was, and that these things are just horribly interesting. I just hope I'm not consuming a big pile of "stuff".

I liked the John Adams mini-series ..

John Adams is a 2008 American television miniseries chronicling the political and family life of U.S. Founding Father and president John Adams, detailing his many roles in the founding of the United States. The miniseries is directed by Tom Hooper and stars Paul Giamatti in the title role. Kirk Ellis wrote the screenplay based on the 2001 biography John Adams by David McCullough.

will have to check out the PBS American Revolution ..
( yes, looks like some do have issues with it .. so always go to keep an eye out for some of the details )

Why does it feel like the Bella 1 was not simply an empty tanker? What is it really carrying? Possible secret hold?

Kind of curious on how much Comrade Mamdani's PERFECT haircut and beard/stache cost? Was it at the 'People's' Barbershop?

I know one thing: It wasn't the $12 military special, or even at supercuts. $100? $300? Sure it was more....

Apparently, CBS News got an ultimatum.

Why else would they claim to be cleaning up their act?

"On too many stories, the press has missed the story. Because we've taken into account the perspective of advocates and not the average American. Or we put too much weight in the analysis of academics or elites, and not enough on you."

That changes now. The new CBS Evening News starts Monday at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS.

LOL...

"I've heard it for over 20 years,,,"

And only NOW you are doing any self-reflection? Seriously, what the fuck?!?!?!

The comments there are a toxic cesspool of enraged leftists who are angry about losing their monopoly on "news"
