Time and time again we see the examples @wittaj posts and ones like this one.
Most all suffer from the same problem:
When you idea of video coverage is simply to see “what happened” and not “who did it”.
If you don’t have cameras zoomed into a tight FOV (entrances, street, driveway, license plates) you are going to have a lot of pretty wide angle pictures, with little or no “evidence”
I know some one that now has two camera systems running concurrently 1). being Dahua-based 2). being Alexa Ring based
Took him eons to accept my advice; otherwise he would have been stuck with an unreliable WiFi-based / Cloud-based Ring system
