Since I bought this camera, it's just been a struggle for me.

I am on a Unifi system, and have another Empiretech PTZ connected which has been working real well.

Now, EmpireTech IPC-B52IR-Z12E-S2 when I added it to my Unifi system and have AI port, it would always be the longest duration to connect to the camera for a view. It's always been odd, and now for past two days it seems the camera is now stuck in the "night" setting where I can't see anything. If I access the camera directly I think I can access it fine.

Not sure what has changed or what I can do with the camera to see if it improves the performance. I'm also checking with Unifi on the side.

Not clear/

Can you access the camera direct?
WHen you do is it OK?
If not, specifically what is the problem?

If you can access it direct ok and no problem, the problem is with your Unifi and AI port setup which I know nothing about unfortunately

I have no experience with Unifi video or their AI port product, but make sure Smart Codec is off and set the i-frame intervals to match the frame rates on your streams (there are all settings in the camera's web interface). This is based on the theory that loading its live view may require an i-frame to arrive in the stream from the camera, and it might not currently be configured in a way that makes a lot of i-frames.

I'm not sure what you mean with "camera is now stuck in the "night" setting where I can't see anything".
