We have a system that is working flawlessly composed of +10 years old NVR 9DS-9664-NI-ST) and 30 cameras (various but a lot of DS-2CD-2132-I). SO far I have hit a wall.
Where can I find the most recent firmware for the following items:

ModelCurrent Firmware and Build
DS-9664NI-STV3.4.21build 160630
DS-2CD2T42WD-I5V5.5.0build 170725
DS-2CD2343G0-IV5.5.82build 181211
DS-2CD2132-IV5.2.0build 140721

This will be much appreciated

I saw this post was within the last year so I figured it may be my best shot at getting in touch with someone that knows about these cameras.

DS-2CD2132-I
Firmware Version: V5.0.0 build 130830
Encoding Version: V4.0 build 130411
Serial #: DS-2CD2132-I0120140508CCRR463776629

I don't know the origin of the cameras but I'm trying to upgrade using the above (linked) firmware (from hikvisioneurope.com) and it's giving me an error that says "Language Mismatch" when I try to use iVMS 4200.

I need to upgrade the cameras to the latest version so I can get ONVIF working on but I can't figure out why this won't let me update, I'm starting to think it MAY be related to this region locking issue.

The camera I'm trying to upgrades serial # (above) is confusing - I can't figure out what firmware I should be using since some people on the web seem to think CCRR is Chinese, others think it's the same as WR (International).

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read and respond if you're able to help I sincerely appreciate it. These cameras are on my elderly mother's home, installed by my (now deceased) father about 10 years ago - we have very little to go on and with the current NVR being non internet accessible and non user friendly I wanted to try and upgrade to her to another system that utilizes ONVIF and I never realized it would be this hard/impossible to upgrade them to a firmware where that works.

*NOTE: She has (4) of these cameras installed on the house (HOPEFULLY they're all the same - I'm working on getting confirmation on that today) but thankfully there were (2) spares at her house that were unused that I brought back to my home to test with my ONVIF capable system. - This is when I ran into the need to use the SADP software *which worked to set it to an IP that would work in my network, then I tried to update it via the web interface but the "Browse" buttons wouldn't work (tested on all browsers), nor would the Web Components stuff load in a way any of the browsers could utilize it. So I installed the iVMS-4200 software and I've been stuck trying to find a Firmware version that will actually update on this.

Does anyone have the slightest idea what I should do in a scenario like this?

Thanks,

That error, and the serial number, does suggest these are Chinese region cameras.
It is possible to permanently convert that model to the international region that will then allow firmware updates to succeed from the source that you have attempted.
It is quite a technical process though, but many have used it successfully.

Check this thread out:

Thank you - I had actually seen that earlier but wasn't sure it would apply to my situation since my moms cameras are an earlier firmware v5 vs. the version they spoke about in here. I wasn't sure if it would apply but thank you for the confirmation.

Since my first post I've been in touch with mom and had her go into the NVR for me to check and it appears that there are (2) other camera models at play as well, bullet style - and one of them is FOR CERTAIN a Chinese model as it has the CCCH in the serial #. So now I'm working on getting the details of those together (from my screenshots taken during facetime call) and will check the web to see if the same type of tools they used in this thread can help - because if I can only fix half these cameras and not the others, I may be forced to replace everything.

thank you again for your expertise,
