Was about to be mad at the garbage truck crew...

I once found my trash on my lawn along with the lid.

It wasn't what happened to yours. Somebody had hit it with their car the night before lol. Blasted the lid right off the plastic roll out container. Dented the side. Threw at least one trash bag. I probably posted the video here but it woulda been 10 years ago I bet. Eh apparently I didn't have video, must have just heard it and found the evidence later.

I got you beat. This one is from 19 years ago... Mail lady went "postal" on my trashcan...

Speaking of trash, last week I was putting out the bins on the curb at night and saw round silver disk laying in the street. I thought it might be a coin, but it was just a blank slug. Decided to look around for more and spotted a license plate laying next to the curb. It had been attached to some car using magnets about the size of a silver dollar. I tossed them all in the recycle bin. :screwy:

My vote goes for plate was stolen.

Magnets allow plate to cover another plate quickly and be removed quickly with no tools.
Why, maybe avoid tolls or for burglary...
Down side if car hits a bump or pothole hard enough.
I would have kept the magnets - you can never have enough magnets.

My bet is that someone didn't want to drill their front bumper to mount the plate, so they used magnets instead. I knew a lot of people who did this.
