Wow! What a sight there. I would have loved your clear sky for this show. Super reds in your picts. Red is from about 200 miles up in atmosphere.
Here, near Seattle, I barely got a couple hours before clouds and blocked everything. Caught a fireball, though.

Here it was most vivid early in the night.
Even so, you look outside in person and it just looks faintly gray. The camera sees what the eye does not.

I got this Tuesday night. Last night's storm was a bust.
Stefan Burns the geophysicist on youtube was talking about electrical issues on that night, somewhere in an equatorial region i think. Guadalupe or Ecuador cant remember
Here at about 7:27 the mention about a power outage island wide etc.
