US Elections (& Politics) :)

In this case, "they" the supreme court, have called it a lie:

Supreme Court rebuffs Alex Jones’ effort to overturn $1.4 billion Sandy Hook judgment

Jones has faced mounting legal pressure after juries in Connecticut and Texas found him liable in 2022 for defamation and emotional distress over his lies about the massacre, in which 20 first graders and six educators were killed. Jones has repeatedly tried to head off the sale of his far-right platform, Infowars, to pay those damages.

Freed Israeli Hostage: Hamas Was "Very Scared" Of Trump, They Wanted Kamala

A freed Israeli hostage told CNN that his Hamas captors started treating him better after the 2024 U.S. elections.

"He got the hostages out," Omer Shem Tov said about Trump. "They were very scared of him -- the terrorists. They wanted Kamala to be elected."

"As soon as Donald Trump was elected, they understood that he wanted to bring us back home," he added. "So immediately, the way they treated me changed. The amount of food. I can say this, when Trump came into president, the way they treatest us changed, for me personally."

Trying to figure out your initials, is it Carlo Teófilo Garcia, or if you identify as a senorita Carla Teófila Garcia? If you get a visit from ICE and they cuff you and take you away and you look like a white supremacist, then no, not the country I want. Anyone can be taken into custody and detained as a suspect of a crime and be later released after further investigation. Considering the location, I would highly suspect the news source not to be 100% forthcoming with accurate details. Was he asked for ID and refused? Was he resisting? Apparently he provided ample proof of his citizenship and was released, so yes this is the country I want. How about you, what about people that were arrested and jailed without charges, put in solitary confinement for months, and they were only guilty of being at the J6 rally at, not in, the capital building, is that the country you want.

Here you go bigot...

Media outlets, including Fox News and CNN, refuse to sign Pentagon’s press access rules

Virtually every news outlet is rejecting the ultimatum and saying they will not sign.

ABC News, CBS News, CNN, NBC News and Fox News (where Hegseth was an on-air host for a decade) issued a joint statement on Tuesday afternoon condemning the new rules and refusing to sign the paperwork. Beyond the big cable and broadcast networks, Reuters, The Associated Press, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic and NPR have all said that journalists from their newsrooms will not sign on to the Pentagon’s restrictions.

Some partisan media outlets have also raised objections: Newsmax, the pro-Trump cable channel and website, said Monday that its reporters have no plans to sign either.

The only media outlet that has publicly accepted the Pentagon’s rules is One America News, a MAGA outlet that stands further to the right of Newsmax and Fox News.

Trump tells Hamas to disarm and warns: 'If they don't I'm gonna make them disarm'
Donald Trump has threatened to forcibly disarm Hamas if they refuse to give up their weapons as the Gaza ceasefire deal hangs by a thread.

'They will disarm — and if they don't I'm gonna make them disarm,' the president told reporters at the White House on Tuesday. 'They know what I mean.'

Trump warned that America stood ready to bring about Hamas's disarmament 'quickly and perhaps violently.'

It comes amid fears that the fragile ceasefire could unravel at any moment as Hamas has failed to deliver the deceased hostages, the Gaza Strip has descended into bloody gang warfare and Israel is refusing to open the Rafah border crossing to aid.

Trump said that the jihadists 'misrepresented' how many dead hostages they would be able to deliver, originally stating 'they had 26, 24'. Only eight coffins have been retrieved from Gaza so far, including another four released tonight.

'It seems they don't have that because we're talking about a much lesser number. But that's a very tough subject. I want them back. That's what they said. I want them back,' he said.

Trump also told reporters that Hamas 'took out two very evil gangs' in Gaza and 'killed a number of them,' a development he said 'didn't bother me much.'

Hamas faces violent opposition from several armed gangs in the Strip that have sprung up after Israel wiped out the terrorists' leadership.

Trump returned from Egypt late last night after signing a historic peace deal and speaking in Israel following the release of 20 hostages by Hamas.
