Is the dome severely scratched, shattered or broken? Or is it just pretty fogged up from UV and smog?

OK...I ask because if you are never able to find the right replacement dome I was thinking that one of the higher-rated automotive headlight restoration kits available on Amazon might clear it up for you. For under $20 it may be a viable solution.

I have found on Aliexpress dome that fits 4.2" but to spend $25.00 on 8 years old cam that is little too much. As of restoration I could try on one spot on the dome to see if it is good approach I will need only 1 inch radius

And if it works you'll have several wipes left over to restore it again someday should it need it and if the camera is still working....just be sure to close up and seal the kit well to preserve its contents.

To restore plastic the surfaces need to be polished until smooth. There are polishes for plastic and acrylic. These can be found for automotive detailing as well as other uses. For severe damage such as headlight lenses and worse, sanding before polishing is done. I suspect your situation can be handled with a little polish and 'finger grease'. ;)
