Daily Beast apologizes, retracts article alleging Jeffrey Epstein introduced Melania, Donald Trump
The article was also replaced with an editor’s note

The Daily Beast apologized and retracted an article alleging that deceased financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein introduced then-Melania Knauss to her future husband, Donald Trump.

The article included claims made by author Michael Wolff on "The Daily Beast Podcast" on Saturday that Melania was "very involved" in Trump's "relationship" with Epstein, The New York Post reported.

"She's introduced by a model agent, both of whom Trump and Epstein are involved with. She's introduced to Trump that way," Wolff alleged. "Epstein knows her well."

The article was taken down from the Daily Beast website and replaced with an editor’s note apologizing “for any confusion” after the first lady’s lawyers contacted the media outlet.

“After this story was published, The Beast received a letter from First Lady Melania Trump’s attorney challenging the headline and framing of the article,” the editor’s note reads.

“After reviewing the matter, the Beast has taken down the article and apologizes for any confusion or misunderstanding,” the note added.

In Melania's 2024 memoir, she explained that she met Trump at a September 1998 Fashion Week party at the Kit Kat Klub in New York City.

“I saw my friend wave at someone behind me. When I turned around, I noticed a man and an attractive blonde woman approaching us,” Melania wrote. “‘Hi. I’m Donald Trump,’ the man said when he reached my table.”

Trump sat down next to her and started a conversation, she recalled.

The article retraction comes as Trump has been pressured to release files regarding Epstein, who died in prison in 2019 while on trial for child sex trafficking charges. His death was ruled a suicide.

My Comment: This is the kind of fake reporting that one has to look out for on the whole Epstein story.

Im not relying on that garbage. I'm using content put out by Trump's own team

Are you guys seriously not hearing any of this?

Is Fox your primary source for news?

Has anyone asked the question WHY Ghislaine was moved to an new comfy bunk? less than a week after meeting Trumps personal (now #2 DOJ) lawyer?

Has anyone thought about the 4-5 different stories Trump himself has publicly told about this whole Epstein thing in just the past 2 months?

NONE of this is disputed by Trump and its all been widely reported.

Justice Department officials are currently lobbying two New York federal judges to release grand jury testimony from investigations into both Maxwell and Epstein. (sealed, so no Biden didnt have it) But such information would only include the accounts of two law enforcement witnesses, the feds disclosed this week.

Such a disclosure, if the judges sign off, would only amount to a fraction of the 300 gigabytes of Epstein-related material that DOJ and FBI officials have said they have in their possession.

Maxwell has also offered to testify to a congressional committee about Epstein, but only if granted immunity for what she says.

President Trump has the power to pardon Maxwell or to release her from prison by commuting her sentence.

When asked earlier this week about the possibility, he didn’t rule out doing so, but insisted that he had not been approached directly with a request to pardon her.

I would say that it is because she fully cooperated with the DOJ lawyer(s). Apparently, they were completely satisfied with her answers.

How about Senator Hawley being the only republican who voted in favor of the PELOSI Act in the Homeland Security committee?

Senator Tuberville states the following.... " But my goodness, to punish everybody for a couple of people up here is dead wrong."

Isn't that pretty much EVERY law in the books? The politicians create laws to punish everybody because of a few people?

Republicans are on the wrong side of this one. PERIOD.

Lol Russia is having to buy military equipment from China, N. Korea, Iran. Good luck with that India..hope you are not in a hurry.

But of course missing the real point, Trump's "deals" are so far a dud at best and detrimental at worst

BREAKING: Office of Special Counsel Launches Investigation Into Jack Smith
The Office of Special Counsel has launched an investigation into Jack Smith for possible violations of the Hatch Act.

Jack Smith was appointed as Special Counsel in 2022 by Joe Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland to investigate Trump just one day after Trump announced his 2024 bid for the White House.

The Office of Special Counsel opened the investigation after Senator Tom Cotton earlier this week sent a letter alleging Jack Smith’s actions politically harmed Trump during the 2024 election.

The New York Post reported:

The Office of Special Counsel has launched a formal investigation into Jack Smith, the first official legal probe into his conduct, The Post has learned.

Smith is the justice department lawyer who oversaw two criminal investigations into President Donald Trump during the Biden administration, one into Trump’s handling of classified documents, the other as to whether his actions on Jan. 6th, 2021, were an attempt to overturn the 2020 election. Both cases were dismissed.

An email reviewed by The Post states The Hatch Act Unit, which enforces a law restricting government employees from engaging in political activities, has begun reviewing the former Special Counsel for the United States Department of Justice. The email was written by Senior Counsel Charles Baldis at OSC.

“I appreciate the Office of Special Counsel taking this seriously and launching an investigation into Jack Smith’s conduct. No one is above the law.

“Jack Smith’s actions were clearly driven to hurt President Trump’s election, and Smith should be held fully accountable,” said Senate Intelligence Committee chair Sen Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) in a statement to The Post.

You’re being lied to

You are starting with the false premise that we have “historically low inflation” and that the Fed rate is too high.

Amazing nobody is interested in Trump firing the BLS lady because he didn’t like this months jobs number claiming it was fake.
Even though he used that same report to praise native vs non native numbers.
Even though he used the same report 3 months in a row to praise the economy.
Both can’t be true
Only select parts of the report were fake you are to believe

We have high inflation and have since 2020 due to unbridled money printing due to the fake overreaction to Covid and fake low interest rates.

Banks and lenders got used to 0% interest rates that they could use to borrow while charging you 5%
They want that to return

In the mean time much of what you purchase doubled or more in price due to low interest rates and unchecked printing of money ( same thing really)

The interest on your credit card, mortgage, and the price if eggs won’t change much if at all if the Fed were to cut the rate by double what’s expected by business. Namely .5%

The risk by lowering rates too soon is increased inflation.

But what’s important is that you have a new boogie man to blame the economy on, after all, the details don’t matter, only the “feelz”

Oh, and
Last 2 months were ESTIMATES from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (run by the Trump Admin).

Today’s are the ACTUAL numbers.

Give it a few minutes. You’ll start to understand.

Same as in the Biden era.
