More Mama Fox Videos

I sure wish some of the foxes would take care of the roosters some people are illegally keeping in their backyards in Lubbock. I know some addresses where they're present. Believe it or not, the Lubbock Police Department handles rooster calls rather than Code Enforcement.

The fox also got the rooster (we're out on the country). The rooster, who often attacked people, was perfectly happy to let the fox get the 4 gals first while he stood away and watched. When the fox finally went for him, he tried to fly over the 3' fence but was too fat to make it.

Two different camera views are included in this short video showing Mama Fox moving her family across the street. But this time, two of the three little ones aren't being carried.

I'd sure like to post a video of Mama Fox with a rooster. :lmao:

We had a fox come by here the other night. I have lived in Spring TX since 1988 and have NEVER seen a fox here.

What did she have in her mouth in the last shot?
I believe she caught a baby bird when retrieving the third baby fox. There were three foxes out this morning and they were going up trees birdless and coming down with birds. I have been in awe watching how crafty the foxes are at bird hunting.

Nice looking family! ...or maybe more correctly a "leash of foxes" or a "skulk of foxes".......but I think "family" will do and personally I think it sounds more endearing.

Just before the end of the video, the foxes stopped and grouped together. They saw Rex and Leo, my two orange cats, watching them about twenty feet away. All five foxes went around the cats as close to the fence as possible and jumped the fence. :thumb:

I like how they stuck to the walkway in the back yard.
